KU to look into 'ways to improve' procedures for Late Night

Stable? Have you seen the grant of rights? Why would you believe OU and UT were out one day but are happy go lucky now?

All of the "tradition" of the basketball program isn't going to mean anything when KU is in the Mountain West.

Does the name UCONN ring any bells?

KU to look into 'ways to improve' procedures for Late Night

What is the KU administration doing to get us into a stable conference?

Do any of the people on these boards read the Oklahoma newspapers online?

Their main sportswriter is screaming to get into the SEC or Big Ten.

The Texas blogger Tuxedo Yoda says Oklahoma and Texas have already been offered by the Big Ten.

The conference stability issue is the only thing this site should be talking about. Period.

Kansas basketball Media Day

Tuxedo Yoda, a blogger with ties to the UT administration and athletic department, is reporting that Oklahoma and Texas have been offered by the Big 10.

Soon, none of these pictures or "tradition" will matter and you are all smiling as you die.

What is the KU administration doing to get us into a stable conference, and what are you supporters doing to pressure them into doing so?

That is the only thing this site should be talking about. Period, end of story. All the rest is meaningless once our "power" conference is gutted.

Opinion: Wide receiver Nick Harwell still coming to KU whether his former school cooperates or not

The question is whether we hurt basketball in order to keep a football program that has had 100 years to succeed but never has or do we realize we are a basketball school and do everything we can to support basketball.

A secondary question is why anyone believes that the Big XII is all "lovey dovey" now and not a completely unstable conference.

Why would OU want to be gone one day and suddenly is "committed" to the Big XII again?

Can you list the reasons why any KU fan should feel even remotely secure in their long term conference affiliation status?

Why is KU not the next UCONN?

Matt,

When will you do an article based upon the reality of KU football? That is - what happens when the Big XII falls apart after OU decides it wants to leave again?

Should KU dissolve football and join the new Big East to boost men's basketball, or should it join the Mountain West to keep football but greatly diminish men's basketball?

Why do you not talk about the reality of the inherent instability of the Big XII and what KU should be doing to make preparations?

After long wait, KU football shows off 5 new helmets

Matt, when will you do an article on KU's options when OU decides it wants to leave the Big XII again?

Should they disband football and join the new Big East to solidify basketball?

Or should they join the Mountain West which will allow them to continue football but diminish the prestige of basketball?

Realignment Today: Does the ACC's granting of rights agreement mean realignment is finally finished?

Do you agree that KU fans have taken the complete wrong approach towards Mizzou? Burning bridges to what may be our only hope at a lifeline one UT and OU walk?

Realignment Today: Does the ACC's granting of rights agreement mean realignment is finally finished?

Can someone, anyone explain why they believe OU and UT are committed to the Big 12?

Every time I bring this issue up I get messages like "fail" or accusations that I am a Mizzou fan.

But can someone tell me honestly how one minute OU and UT want to leave and then the next everything is lovey dovey and full of, as Matt says, "strength and vitality"?

Expansion of the conference would certainly show a long term commitment, but that has been shot down.

It is my opinion that OU and UT cannot be trusted based upon their past infidelities. I know most of you will call me a troll, but I believe KU should absolutely be playing Mizzou in the desperate hope that they can get an invite into the SEC and no longer be clinging to idea that OU and UT are really committed to us now.

KU assistant Joe Dooley hired as head coach at Florida Gulf Coast

If the Big 12 was a stable conference, then yes the development of conference rivalries would be good for KU.

Since the Big 12 is not stable, it is not good for KU to have anything other than an elite basketball program in all facets.

It is especially bad that OSU, one of the teams that is eventually going to leave, is quickly coming up and becoming more attractive to other conferences.
