Everyone's talking about … Elena Delle Donne

We are looking forward to watching you play this evening. Thanks to your stellar performance on Sunday (watching women's game on tv while listening to men play on the radio) I was able to avoid a complete meltdown at the start of the men's game against Purdue. We are proud of your success under tough circumstances. RCJHKU!

KU women make NCAA Tournament as 11 seed, will face sixth-seeded Nebraska in first round Sunday

We were sitting in a sports bar last night anxiously waiting for the brackets.....waiting.....waiting...waiting! This is terrific news. Congratulations to the team and coaches. We're especially glad for Aishah. What a way to end your senior season. Rock Chalk!

Big 12 coaches, media honor Kansas women

Great accolades for Aishah and Angel also. Natalie had a terrific game on Sunday. She needs to build on her confidence for the tournament. Hopefully an NCAA bid is possible. We will miss getting to see them again in AFH (NIT tourney), but it's worth it for a bid to the big dance. Great work girls!

End of a journey: Sutherland’s successful KU career nears finish

It's been a pleasure to watch Aishah play. I hope that graduation brings great rewards and that maybe she finds her way back to Kansas again at some point. We'll be cheering her on tonight!

KU women lose Davis to injury, fall to K-State, 47-43

So KSU coach is quoted in the KC Star this morning as saying that this was a classic KU-KSU battle. Really, winning by 4 points after Carolyn is injured in the first 5 minutes of the game? That's not a classic battle in my books. But it is a typically classless comment made by Deb Patterson. Thanks to the Jayhawks who pulled together under devastating circumstances and almost pulled out a win. So proud of them.

Foul calls all went KSU's way. So proud of the Jayhawks for showing their grit and determination in the light of Carolyn's devastating injury. The demeanor of the Wildcats was less than stellar; laughing out loud in their huddle while Carolyn was less than 10 ft away being loaded on to a stretcher (I guess they take their behavioral cues from their classy coach). At least the KSU fans showed some class. Come on girls. Stay together. This season isn't finished yet.

Carolyn Davis saves best for last to ensure win

I was soooooooo disappointed in the "sluggish" play that I was prepared to get up and leave about midway through the second half. But I decided that if the team needed to stay and finish, so did I. Wow what a terrific ending. Take this confidence and keep moving forward.

Goodrich leads Jayhawks to strong Big 12 start

This was a great win. We need to show up in droves on Saturday night because I guarantee that there will be plenty of KSU fans.

KU women defeat Emporia State, 83-61, in exhibition opener

Seriously, get off of the site. If you weren't at the game, then we don't need your comments. Go watch football......oh wait, change schools and go watch football.

Missouri, Don't let the door hit you in the tucked tail on your way out. Good riddance.
