KU football season-opener to be televised

On DirectTV the channel is 617-1 (617 for SD). I have no idea what package gives you that channel. I only know that I have it because I tuned to the channel and it worked for me.

KU to place trees along new practice fields

I always preferred watching practice from the comfort of the union. Since I will still be able to see over the trees, I'm happy.

Not-so-cheap seats

I don't get the appeal of sitting in ugly seats with a terrible view. For less money you can have a better view of the game. If you don't care about the view, for WAY less money you can drink alcohol and eat whatever you want on the hill.

Collins tests stalled at KBI

Crimany nettiepie. Taking your penis out and forcibly rubbing it against a stranger is what you called flirting? I imagine you called forcibly having sex with someone "dating." Your exes are some lucky folks.

Civil suit hits Collins for $75K

frompekka2sasha,This is called a default judgment. If you don't file an answer to a complaint (lawsuit) and don't appear in court, the judge has no choice but to rule against you. That rule applies to all adults be they basketball players or people with no understanding the the law whatsoever complaining on sports boards.

White House to honor Jayhawks Tuesday

The Soprano's was a great television show. That doesn't mean I think it should be on Nickelodeon. Likewise, I am VERY interested in politics and follow the issues closely. That doesn't mean I want to read about them on KUsports.com. Let's TRY to stay on subject. I congratulate and am happy (and a little envious) of our Jayhawks. I just wonder which Supreme Court justices they will be meeting. Thomas loves basketball and he, Ginsburg, Roberts, Souter, and Scalia all have ties to KU of varying degrees.
