Big 12 crown within reach
Anyone rooting for Mizery is not a Jayhawk!...and that's all I have to say about that.

What could've been...
When you look at the long careers of guys like Mokeski, Ostertag and Dreiling, it's still hard to believe that Chenowith couldn't make an NBA roster.

Neglected guard Pyle shines
..."Pyle, a 6-foot-5 guard from the small western Kansas town of Towanda". "Western?" Towanda is NE of Wichita.

Kansas unusually porous vs. run
I am surprised that no one is talking about how pathetic our kicking game has been of late. Branstetter almost never gets a kick-off into the end zone unless there is a gale-force wind behind him...and then has to make the tackle at mid-field half the time. And Rojas was absolutely terrible in Lincoln. I realize the weather was not great but come on! He gave the Huskers great field position several times. I really hope we are recruiting a punter & kicker for next year.

KU using music to drown out chant
TV commentators & opposing coaches have always said that Allen Fieldhouse is one of the toughest places in the country to play and have praised KU basketball fans as some of the most respectful and intelligent fans in the country. Thanks to a bunch of classless idiots, KU football fans are going to have the exact opposite reputation.

LB Tharp commits
I'm glad the KU coaching staff was still interested in him after his injury. Huldon is a great kid and a true team player...a perfect fit for the Jayhawks.

Jury to resume deliberations Thursday morning in KU's trademark dispute with T-shirt maker
To K_Easthouse:"I got sued by my favorite school and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt."Very clever...I got a good chuckle out of that one.

The $6,400 question: Should KU Athletics be reimbursed?
DrJHawk...I like the way you think! I don't care how much money the football team makes from playing in Arrowhead....it is bad for KU fans. It was supposed to be a home game for us last year but it seemed to me that every Chiefs ticket holder must also be an MU fan. I hate to see what the crowd looks like this year when it is a home game for MU.Mr. Marchiony...pay the damn $6400.

Gray matters
I just watched the 1988 Championship game (on VHS) last week. They showed Ryan several times during the game and it made me wonder what happened to him...now I know. Thanks for the article.
