Probe timing curious

"I don't get this at all.
Why is everyone rushing to defend Mangino?
The accusations (if true) are pretty bad IMHO."

justanotherfan, because right now they are still just ACCUSATIONS. Talk about guilty until proven innocent.

Probe timing curious

If they waited until after the season just to start the investigation, it would delay the coaching search and leave the current recruits hanging or dropping KU altogether while there's still scholarships available elsewhere. It's as simple as that.

What if KU stuns Texas?

saidtoomuch - who talked about the military until you complained about people bringing up the military?

Limited production

acsgreens, a “hiccup” is one game. A four game losing streak says there’s something systematically. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. The “fair weather fans” have already left for basketball. The “true fans” are still here talking football – just not blindly assuming things will get better if we cheer louder.

KU basketball player Chase Buford enters diversion agreement in July DUI case

At least Brady's a starter on a #1 team. Well - was.

As to "Are diversions cheaper when you buy two or more?" - only during Happy Hour.

Aikman stunned by KU

I enjoyed the article. I was at that game. The KU defense had Troy's head spinning. As OU drove for a late TD, the crowd started chanting "Don't let'em score." I met up with some folks later at The Wheel who had left the game early to go drinking. I kept hearing "We WHAT?"

Bradford out for Saturday's game against KU

No "woohoo" from me. I hate it when we go against a (relatively) unknown QB. I'd rather go against someone we've been able to scout.
