Vitale's in midseason form---from the mid-1980, like he's been for the entire time I've suffered through his presence on ESPN, dating back to my middle school years. Can it, old man!

Detroit all over again ...

I also dislike the forced uniformity evident in the tournament court design/paint jobs. I always used to like seeing the different courts painted differently thoughout the tournament. Now they all have that same black and blue color scheme.

Dayton’s Perry familiar with KU

Uh, Mr. Perry, I believe it's the NCAA tournament selection committee, and not a mythical man in the sky, that's responsible for your team playing KU today. That is all.

Bison: KU just played better

Nothing but respect for Woodside, his coach, and his teammates. They played hard, left it all on the court, and made up half of a fun-to-watch college hoops matchup. Too bad they couldn't have been matched up against Mizzou.

Gary Bedore’s KU basketball notebook

Man, 35 FTA in one game by a guard shows how much Woodside has the ball in his possession..there are some guards who won't shoot 35 frees in an entire season. I'd advocate the "cut the head off the snake" approach...face guard Woodside everywhere, and pressure full court to force him to handle the ball against pressure as much as possible.
