Yelling again, eh Frank? Makes you look an arse. Just sayin'.

KU overcomes Collins’ struggles
Knight annoys me...for every trenchant insight he'll offer, he'll come back with brainless dreck like he did last night about a made FT making it a four-point lead, which would make it, Knight assures us, a two-possession game. Brilliant! It's like these former coaches are sat behind a TV microphone and they lose their ability to distinguish what they need to say from what they simply think.

Rivalry reborn: K-State fans have returned to chicken-throwing roots
Wayne S. is classy and a Christian. I'm neither, so I'll say it: that kind of crap is bushleague and makes KSU and all associated with KSU look like rubes and white trash. Throwing debris on the floor is dangerous protocol, yet KSU staff never seem to be ahead of the curve and unable to prevent this foolish act. I've sent several emails on this topic to Big 12 offices, asking why offending schools aren't punished, and I've never received a single reply.
Oh, a rivalry is not a rivalry unless it's competitive. And pumped-in techno noise is cheesy and an annoyance, and not something that has to be done in arenas where fans understand the game and its momentum and intensity shifts.

Taking his shot: 42 points or not, Brackins just wants a win
Minus Steiger, could this game against ISU be against an undermanned, easy-to-overlook, just-ahead-of a-big rivalry-game opponent, a la Tennessee? Hope not.

Baylor coming off postseason win against KU
L. Dunn's (set) shot is one of the pretiest shots I've seen in the Big 12. Dude can stroke it.

Two Jayhawks in mourning
I, too, have lost dear grandparents, and it's bloody hard to deal with. But it will get better. Remember the good times: I still smile involuntarily when thinking about my late grand-dad (it's happening now, in fact) and the sound of his laugh, the dirty jokes he appreciated, and his disdain of Mizzou. That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

‘We didn’t get it done’
So, two straight games now with opponents exceeding 40 percent FGs, after a streak of was it 80-some games with opponents below 40 percent? I guess a team hitting half its 3pt attempts will do that to percentages.

Steve Woodberry back on the bench
An all-time favorite Jayhawk, quiet class and hustle. I worked with him one summer at a Pizza Hut in Wichita and he was a nice, nice guy.

Who is your favorite KU basketball lefty from the last 20 years?
Alltime KU lefty team: Walters, Langford, Raef, X, and Ron K. That's a strong five.
