Looks like he was just inactive. Possibly in advance of his latest D-League assignment: http://thebrooklyngame.com/nets-send-...

How former Jayhawks fared in Jan. 17 NBA games

Sorry for the confusion. The bare-bones version you sometimes see is our way of getting you the stats ASAP after a night's games are over. We usually type up the expanded stats (they require a bit more searching/coding) later, once we've taken care of a few other things.

Oops. Thanks for the catch, all. Identical stat lines for the twins would have been fitting, though.

Season's greetings!

Ha! To answer your, um, finely worded question: Working and generally trying to stay sane. I'll do my best to post as the full-time job allows.

Sunday/Monday/Tuesday recap: Paul Pierce posts plenty of points + other non-alliterative updates

I'll try not to go overboard on my attempts to break up the monotony of the recaps. But as far as the regularity of the postings... unfortunately that'll vary quite a bit. The unholy overlap of my full-time job and the NBA's primetime schedule makes it almost impossible to post nightly updates, especially when accounting for my personal health and sanity. That said, thanks for keeping up!

Saturday/Sunday recap, Marcus Morris puts up 31 and 16 in D-League, plus overseas updates

I think Mayberry's point is that, aside from power forward Serge Ibaka (Mr. Triple-Double), the other three Thunder bigs grabbed just eight rebounds in 50 minutes, and it might have been worth seeing what Cole could do, even for a few minutes.

Starting center Kendrick Perkins (zero points, four rebounds, 20 minutes), backup center Nazr Mohammed (four points, two rebounds, 10 minutes) and reserve forward/center Collison (three points, two rebounds, 20 minutes) struggled against Denver's three traditional centers (Mozgov/Andersen/Koufos = 30 points, 19 rebounds in 62 minutes).

Wednesday recap: Drew Gooden double-doubles; Markieff Morris to play at All-Star Weekend

From what I've read, the Cole hype has really died down lately. And for good reason — Mario's finally playing like a four-year veteran. It's a shame that Darrell Arthur is out for the season. It took them a little while, but Chalmers and Rush finally hit these grooves this year, and Arthur was also getting there toward the end of last season.
