Marcus Morris eager to share yet another Kansas basketball moment with brother Markieff

That's fantastic that Marcus has such memories of the time he and Markieff spent at KU. I agree with Coach, it's a no brainer and as Marcus eluded to, he'll be hanging with quite a group. Rock Chalk Jayhawks!

Garrett steals the ball and the game, earns top spot in ratings after 58-49 win over West Virginia

How can you forget about the turnovers? It shoul be a new metric turnover to steal ratio. If you have five turnovers and five steals, you broke even.

Quick recap: No. 3 Kansas knocks off No. 14 West Virginia in WVU Coliseum

I like the way Dok put it in a recent interview, ". . . Sometimes I don't score a lot, I get double and triple teamed a lot. . . ". I think sometimes the "new guys" like Braun this year and Abgaji last year, don't get the attention from the opposing defense until they prove they can score. This is kind of what happens to Garrett when he's outside the arc, no one really comes out to challenge him, he's better this year, but still not the three point threat that Braun, Abgaji, Moss, and Dotson are. I also think these guys that go from bench to starters, go from little pressure to a bunch of pressure, in a really short span.

I think we, as fans, are always looking for the next "hot hand", and our hopes and expectations get in the way of clear thinking. About the same time fans wanted to retire Braun's jersey, they were also ready to ship Abgaji off to Siberia. He's played much better since, although he hasn't had a 20 point game in a while.

I don't have ESPN+ so I just had play by play, but that was one ugly game.

Self: Looking ‘less and less’ like Wilson will return to lineup

One of these days, soon I hope, I'll recognize Brett McCabe, and just skip his posts. This would save me time pondering his mental health. We have a coach on the verge of being the second youngest coach to reach 700 wins. A coach I've watched most of his head coaching career because I've lived in the Tulsa area all this time and have friends that are TU grads. A coach that I've seen turn programs around and has maintained the status of KU as a perennial power. Ok, not every kid he's signed has been a choir boy.

So does he take a medical red shirt?

Notebook: Christian Braun honors Kobe Bryant during first career start at OSU

Dane, you took the comment right out of my head. The cowboys have not won a conference game, yet they beat A&M soundly, and many of their conference games have been close. They are not as bad as this game and their record looks.

Benton Smith: Jayhawks should be even tougher to beat with McCormack back — as a backup

Two bigs worked really well when one of them was named Perry Ellis. Right now we don't have a high post guy, it could be DMac, but he's not there yet, and may not get there with Dok. It looks to me, Coach has committed to 4 around 1, and I don't think that will change wen/if Silvio suits back up this year.

I think up until the "brawl", Coach thought and spoke highly of Silvio as a person. If Silvio chooses to come back for his senior year, Coach will give him a chance. I don't think it's the same relationship Coach had with some of the other guys, like Vick. Maybe he and Mac will be 2 bigs that works out. We'll just have to wait and see.

With Silvio essentially out for the season and the lack of success of the two bigs lineup, I'd be surprised if Coach doesn't change to a four and one starting lineup for future games. It's obvious he needs Mac to relieve Dok, there is no other big option. It certainly appears Braun has earned a position as a starter. Moss is a 3 pt. threat from the bench, but is still a bit late on defense. More upside, imo, to starting Braun.

Quick recap: No. 3 Kansas pushes past Tennessee for 74-68 win

So what do all you experts that called for Ochai to be benched to start Moss have to say. He had something on every stat line, assists, steals, blocks, not to mention his 16 points. And Moss did what?
