Battling the injury bug

nice blog! Wasn't Anthony Collins hurt going into the Iowa State game and he def played through pain against Mizzou cause he def wasn't himself! Love all of our freshman and I'm excited for the depth they have provided and hopefully we can get Sharp back healthy and work off any rust in the next 2 games before we head into our matchup with OU!

Jayhawk Flashback: Missouri, 9/27/2003

I remember watching that game on foxsports and we actually popped into the top 25 the next week! I do feel like that was a program changing game because we weren't in the top 25 since 96 if I'm not mistaken!

KU football not ranked in USA Today preseason coaches poll

UNC ranked ahead of us is a joke. The ACC was terrible last year, that's the only reason they were doing anything plus they lost their bowl game. EAST COAST BIAS WHAT GIVES. not worried this is more poster board material.

Jayhawk Flashback: Roy Williams introductory press conference, July 8, 1988

"And, looking back, can anyone really say that Roy made the wrong decision to go to North Carolina?

It's hard to argue with three Final Fours and two national championships in six years".

I could argue that Roy could have made the Final Four and won in 2004 and 2005 with HIS players (Langford, Wayne, Miles, Lee, Graves, Giddens, Padgett) That would have been a great team and I thought they were pretty good with Bill Self! They would not have changed anything and wouldn't have had gone through the growing pains of switching coaches and would have been accustommed to what they were taught already in theor first 2 years! That type of success could have been 4 years in a row to the Final Four and possibly 2 National Cahmpionships and more under Roy Williams!

Jayhawk Flashback: Oklahoma, 2/23/98

Wow brings back alot of great memories! I was a sophmore that season and I couldn't believe we lost to Rhode Island! Still shocked because we were really good that year, only 3 losses heading into the tourney! Did they chant that for Wayne and Keith??
