Mangino wins games, not friends
While I agree that Lew has done a lot for the program, I would also like to point out that he has turned KU football into a business. I've had season tickets since the TA days, and the man is very close to pricing me out of my seats. He has shown zero loyalty to fans like me, who sat through more 50+ - 0 debacles at the hands of KSU, NU, and OU than I care to count. So it doesn't surprise me one bit that he's looking for an excuse to fire HCMM.

Off the unbeaten path
Disappointed to see the comments of the first two fair-weather fans. While I'm not sure we can still win the North now, there is still a lot to play for on the football field.

Pollard most likely done with NBA
Solomon - I can't believe you're comparing Robert Horry to MJ. Hitting a couple of key 3 pointers on a championship team is a lot different than being the dominant player on a championship team. Horry was never even the best player on his own team which no one could say about MJ. He may or may not be the greatest of all time, but that comparison is ridiculous.

Minneapolis it is
I'm not sure if it has already been mentioned, but the last time we were a 3 seed and played a team called the Bison was Bucknell in 05. And I think we all still have the emotional scars leftover from that game.
We really need to put it on this team and leave no doubt.

KU, MU reach agreement to continue Border War at Arrowhead through 2012
Speaking as a season ticket holder through way too many of those 2-10 seasons, I agree without hesitation that this "deal" gives MU a distinct advantage. I'm very disappointed in this decision. I agree that Lew has been good for the university, but there has to come a time where tradition is more important than money. If that makes me a crybaby, so be it. I've paid my dues as a Jayhawk fan and I deserve to see them play MU at home, which is not Arrowhead.

Extension of Arrowhead deal 'close'
I was at the Arrowhead game last year when it was supposed to be a home game. It was anything but. Conservatively, I would say it was 60-40 in favor of MU, which is total crap. If that game in 2007 was played in Lawrence, I have to believe we're winning it. I agree with everyone here that the new AD is all about the money. It's really sad, too. My brother and I have had season tickets for 9 years now. They already took away our parking pass because we don't contribute enough to the Williams fund, and I can see them pricing us completely out of our seats in the next couple of years. Very disappointing, to say the least.

Meier, Sharp could miss MU-KU game
Hate to admit it, but keithmiles05 is right. 6-6 and no bowl game. Last year was a fluke. Different year, same frustrating 'Hawks.

Kansas 'didn't play mature' in first setback
I know I'm a little late, but I don't blame the 'Cat fans storming the court. I didn't hesitate to walk out on the field after we broke a decade-plus losing streak against K-State in football, which was in 2004, if the barley and fermented hops hasn't clouded my memory.
I do think we will win the rematch at Allen on 3/1. KSU just played out of their minds on Wednesday night. Add that to the fact that our guards weren't finishing and our leading scorer was in foul trouble the whole game, and you get beat. It's that simple.

KU vs. K-State set for 11 a.m. on FSN
We could tear down the posts. But wouldn't it burn the mildkitty faithful even more to congratulate them on a good game with that look in our eye that we knew we'd win all along?
Go 'Hawks!
