Aldrich plays big
Were getting it together Hawks. Chemistry is what great teams are all about. I agree about Bob Knight, he was great as an analyst. Loked very uncomfortable with the Game Day crew. Didn't seem to understand why they were laughing all the time, but then neither do I.

Henry picks Memphis
I agree with kcphantom, let him go to Memphis and win a lot of games, but not THE GAME. Teamwork wins championships. Those willing to stick it out and learn to play together. Not these selfish one-and-dones. Since the 19 year old rule went into effect none have won the PRIZE. We have a great group of talented young men, and two exceptional talented recruites coming in. Be faithful and patient KU fans, I have the atmost faith in Coach Self to mold these young men into champions.

Xavier Henry involved in car accident
Leave the young man alone. Even if he makes the wrong decision and chooses Memphis he is still a 18 year old that was in a car accident. Sometimes these life altering events make a person think about things in the long term instead the short term. Yes, I said "life altering", even if not serious, I remember an accident I had at 17 vividly some 35 years ago. Maybe he'll make the right decision and give us 2 or 3 years A.K.A. Brandon Rush. Remember he was only supposed to play one year. Just thinking positive, happy thoughts.

Vegas prep Johnson feeling better after choosing KU
How many one- and- outer have won a National Championship? None. You go Coach Self, recruit and mold another Champion, I waited 20 years between the last two, I can wait another year or two. Can't wait to see this team play, they sound so athletic.

Prep hoops forward torn between Memphis, KU
I don't know anything about Morningstar's situation but I do know Tyrel Reed is not going anywhere. This young man Is what a Jayhawk is all about, a.k.a. Mark Turgeon.

Prep hoops forward torn between Memphis, KU
Robinson,Henry, Stephenson,Wall,Cheek, etc.,etc., How is this recruiting game working with only two maybe three scholarships to give? This exposure to top flight talent is great but it doesn't seem to fit Coach Self's style. To Hell with one-and-out's! Let them play in Europe for a year, let them throw away an education of a lifetime for a chance at the big money of the NBA. Coach, let's continue to recruit players who bond as KU Family and WIN! This Memphis v. Kansas stuff is a bunch of crap. There is NO COMPARISON between the two instutions as far as Coaches, Education, Fans, Tradition, and Winning!!!! If they are lucky enough to get a nod from the Jayhawks and turn it down, WE DON'T WANT THEM! Coach Self is A Teacher, not a NBA Scout! Whewww.

National champions receive rings at ceremony
Any history on the ring? Who designed it? Significance of anything? I want to know about this artifact that our Hawks strive for.
