Relax: Henrys will fit in

I agree with most above that this Henry stuff is getting old, they're Jayhawks, let's let them show their stuff. I want to read more about the improvements this summer of the REST of the returning and new players on the TEAM! This is the Kansas Jayhawks, not the Kansas Henry's. HCBS will mold this talent into a TEAM.

Little has surgery on lower left leg, will be back on court June 1

JHawk74, I have been saying the same thing all year and nobdy here seems to listen or at least agree. Been watching these "All Star Games" and they are basically just shoot the damn ball and get back so the other team can shoot the ball. No defense, No KU basketball type play. I really don't think we need to get into the One-And- Done mentality. Kansas ballplayers pay their dues. Let HCBS form them into ball players, mold them into winners. Let's keep our young men wanting to play, and be PROUD, of being a KANSAS UNIVERSITY JAYHAWK. Not become a NBA stop over. I don't think Coach Self will let that happen. He enjoy's teaching as much as winning. Forget about the "Henry Twins" and all others who drag their feet on decisions. Keep bringing in talent like Elijah Johnson, Thomas Robinson, and Royce Woolridge who want to be here and want to win a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Henry wants to go to KU, father says

I agree with stupid michael. 18 or naught, If you cannot make a decision NOW on a One-And-Out, How In The Hell are you going to make one that effects the rest of your life next year? Grow up you big talented babies. If you are not ready to commit yourself like Coach Self's players do to team and community then go somewhere else and begone with you. Sherron and Cole WILL be back next year, and with our three new recruits added to a already NOW seasoned team, we will be a force to be recognized in polls next year. We do indeed need a 4 who can score and slash to the goal, but at what cost? This is why we have the Coach of The Year, to make it all happen.

Prep star delays decision

I PREDICT: Cole and Sherron both stay for another year. They both love KU, they both know another year will up their status in the NBA Draft. Both have said they will talk to Coach Self about their decision. Cole Aldrich- Self has said, "Why be a 1st round pick when you can come back and be a #1 Pick. Sherron Collins: If you truely want to take care of that 2027 KU Recruit then don't settle for a second round contract. I don't know how tall his Mama is but Coach Self ought to offer him a scholarship, that's the trend now. This one-and-done thing is over rated. It's classy guys like Cole and Sherron that make it. Come back please and make it happen, somebody's got to come through with the consistent outside shot.

The KU men's basketball team will battle Michigan State Friday night. For some KU fans, the hopes of

Couple comments. 1. Lived in Lawrence almost five years and never visited either grave site, I need to come home for a visit, been too long. 2. I have been very vocal about KU not needing to have these one-and-done guys. I have been watching You Tube footage of Lance Stephenson this morning because of all the talk he will be becoming a Jayhawk. Cannot get it out of mind what a player like this would mean to our Sweet 16 team this year. Next year, OH MY GOD, if you can only imagine that Sherron and King Cole return, along with Elijah Thomas and stud Thomas Robinson with Stephenson coming on board. HOLY COW. Add these with The Twins, Tyshawn, Mario, Brady, and Tyrel, your talking about 11 deep. That's not even considering Jeff Withey becoming eligible at semester. How about Tyrone Appleton and Quintrell Thomas, and Travis Releford coming into a second year under Coach Self and staff? Are we talking dominate??????? I don't want to take away from this years success or potential success but man what a team we will have! I don't have a clue how this scholarship thing is going to work out, but I'm sure Self will work it through.

Aldrich schooled by Hill

Anyone who wants to talk about Cole going Pro this year needs to step back and see this game. Don't get me wrong, Cole Aldrich is going to be "The Man" in the middle, but he is really a Freshman as far as experience goes. He got schooled today against U of A. So much potential, so much good coaching, he's going to be "The Man".

Signature touch

Hear, Hear Speakeasy! That's the kind of thing A "True" Jayhawk wants from their career. I believe Cole will be back for two more years. He is just that kind of Jayhawk: Senior Night, Another Ring, All-American, #1 Draft Pick. Stay with us Big Guy, don't stop doing your thing. Coach Self, Coach Manning and the Jayhawk Nation will never let you down.

Aldrich plays big

Were getting it together Hawks. Chemistry is what great teams are all about. I agree about Bob Knight, he was great as an analyst. Loked very uncomfortable with the Game Day crew. Didn't seem to understand why they were laughing all the time, but then neither do I.
