Chalmers, Arthur, Rush could see significant NBA minutes

Well, Chalmers did start, and had 17 pts. in 36 min. Rush had 7 pts., 2 reb. Arthur had 11 pts. and 15 reb. All on their first night. I guess I was wrong: They WERE all ready for the NBA. Let me pull this size 13 out of my mouth now.

KU won't commit to downtown parade for National Champions

You can email the Athletic Dept. through their web site...I did.

Final(ly) Four

Double-team Hansborough or else. Consider a tight zone, or the box-in-one that worked for us Sunday. Try a big front line. Give Aldrich more minutes to wear H. down. Call Larry Brown for advice, and ask him to sit on the bench...

Keegan: Kaun inspires hunted

Yes, Sasha is the answer. Well, Sasha, you've got your work cut out for you now: Tyler Hansborough, then Kevin Love. Hopefully, Coach will see the need to put TWO big guys on them. And dust off and practice the zone and pack it in tight this week. Maybe even try a big front line: Kaun, Aldrich, and either Jackson or Foulie, with a point guard and I'm-Mr.NBA-but-I-can't-reliably-carry-my-team-when-they-need-me.

But probably not: Self prefers to just do the same thing over and over again. It's as if he learned nothing from Larry Brown about changing strategies. How about inviting Larry in as an assistant next weekend? Ring....

Mass. celebration under way

Wish it would have been a better victory to celebrate. I'm glad to be going to the F4 again, but I wish I could be prouder of the circumstances. Davidson is a great team.

Fieldhouse to open for fans to welcome Jayhawks

How about playing SATURDAY'S game on big screens at the Fieldhouse...charge $5; I'll be there.

But why on earth would I want to watch tonight's debacle again? I'd rather eat nails.

Bill Self gets out-coached routinely. (Even by Sean Sutton, by all people.) Did he learn NOTHING from Larry Brown about changing defenses and offenses and diagramming plays? Guess not.

Will he say, double team Hansborough? I really doubt it.

Extra Minutes: Oklahoma State 61, Kansas 60

Down by 1, 12 sec. left: How do you NOT call a TO to plan a play to win it all?

Bill Self was outcoached by Sean Sutton, of all people.

The thing is, everyone knows that we can't handle any team that slows it down and sets the tempo. We will continue to lose in the post-season because Self can't coach a slow-tempo game.

Streak's peak?

There is no team I'd rather lose to than K-State. I love our tradition.

But I'd rather they beat us at home so we can make it like 88 and "paybacks are a beyotch"

Ex-players dismayed

Well, that Boston v Detroit game will be fun to watch, too. Didn't D beat them at home last month?
