Counselor Keith
Goodbye Mario. Best of luck to you. I know you will represent the University of Kansas well in the NBA.

Daniel's 40 completions too much for KU to overcome in the end, MU wins 36-28
So this was pretty much the first KU football game I had watched all year (because I live on the west coast and they always show the Pac-10 games here) and quite frankly, I thought the KU defense just plain sucked. The D-line was slow and kept getting pushed around, the linebackers couldn't tackle and the coverage was just plain awful. I was extremely disappointed in the first half. The second half wasn't so bad, but when you give up like at least 7 yards every play, there is no way you are going to win. Granted Chase Daniel had a great game, but I think what happened on the defensive end of the ball tonight was just inexcusably bad.

New Jersey PF Quintrell Thomas commits to KU
Not to be a Debbie Downer or anything but as I was watching that clip, I noticed that a lot of the times he got a block, he also got whistled for a foul. Also, a lot of those shots he only got because his teammates were able to create open shots for him. It didn't really show him creating his own shots. And then some of the times he shot, it almost seemed kind of awkward. However, he looks like a prolific rebounder and someone who can step out and hit the mid-range jumper every once in awhile (as well as shoot free throws). Anyways, this is just what I think and I trust that Coach Self knows what he is doing and I am glad Quintrell is coming to KU.

Morris twins set date for KU visit
If we had Durant last year, I'm not sure if Self would be starting him over Julian Wright, Brandon Rush, or anyone else because he was a freshman and we had more experienced players at his position. I'm sure he would have gotten a lot of playing time, but if he wouldn't be starting, then he would not have put up the kinds of numbers he had last year.
