Extreme makeover

I was at the game Saturday night and the thing about Max that amazed me was how much bigger and cut he looks. The guy has an NFL body, there is no doubt.

Kansas recruit excels in Vegas

plastic - Thats exactly why Henry started to slide. He got in that car accident and wasn't able to play for a while and when he did come back he was sluggish for a little while after the lay off. Everyone agrees, when Henry is healthy he is a top 3 player.

Fieldhouse closed for construction

The Booth Hall is closed until September.

The football field won't be lowered anytime soon because there is a problem with the ground underneath the football field. It would cost way too much money to lower the field.

Big Dub in good spirits at camp

I have never understood why non-christians get so upset and offended by christians. I don't get upset because you aren't a christian...Wayne is frankly the man!

Big Dub in good spirits at camp

Wayne is my favorite Jayhawk, not only for what a great player he was on the court, but the type of roll model he is off the court. Wayne is flat out the best!

Orange Bowl travel costs for KU: $2M

Do you guys realize that the 2 million dollars didn't come from out athletic department? It came from the 17 mil we got for the Orange Bowl. We spend whatever we need to get down there and then we have to turn the rest over to the Big 12 to split up to all the teams in the Big 12. Therefore, we weren't really spending our own money.

Secondly, I am one of the few that hopes the Arrowhead game stays at Arrowhead permanently. I personally love going to an NFL stadium to watch a college football game. If there is anyone you should be bitter at because of that game it should be the KU fans who didn't show up allowing the stadium to be 50/50 for a KU home game. Also for those of you saying that we would have won that game if it were at KU, honestly thats crap. Mizzou is/was better than us this year and we are going to have to play really well if we want to beat them in Arrowhead this year.

GET OVER IT! We went to the freaking ORANGE BOWL. How many of you thought that would happen at the beginning of the year? If you say I did you are a liar. Enjoy this fellas and quit complaining.

KU hauls in $1.26 million from game at Arrowhead

mvjayhawk, we aren't rolling in money. If we want to compete with the big boys in football on a regular basis then we are going to need more money. Ohio State and Florida's athletic budgets are well over $100 million dollars. Ours is a little over $50 million. Regardless of how good your coaches are you can't compete when you have 50% of the budget that the other teams have. If we want to compete we need more money.

I personally love having the game at Arrowhead and would be in support of it being a permanent change.
