“The biggest things we’ve seen is that (when) you start losing, people leave,” Quigley said. “And we just have to put that aside and play like a family. Because when it’s all said and done, it’s about us on that field that’s playing the game.”

So Quigley and the rest of the team have to band together as a family in face of rejection by our own a**hole fairweather fans. Well done, KU fanbase. Let's make up for it on Saturday. I'm gonna be cheering my heart out for these guys. We're gonna stand for the entire game and if one person tells me to sit down (as happens every game), I will politely decline.

Todd Reesing is probably the main reason we've had any amount of success the last two seasons after years of mediocrity. I'm willing to give him a little more leeway. My money is on his turning things around and getting us wins vs k-state, NU and Mizzou.

I'm far more embarrassed by the "fans" whining about every little thing that goes wrong and crying about the sky falling than I am by our football team. You guys are pathetic.

Good to the last stop

Yeah, it's true. We're just not good at being football fans quite yet. I thought the crowd was louder for USM than the previous two games, but still not really intense unless it was third down. What do you expect after decades of mediocrity? It'll take many more successful seasons before the Memorial Stadium crowd can give us the same home field advantage we get at Allen.
