KU basketball notebook

What I've found out about Tyrel and Burlington HS is the following:2004 - 26-0 - 3A State Champs2005 - 22-1 - 3A runner ups2006 - 23-1 - Lost in 1st round of state tourney2007 - 24-2 - 3rd place at state tourneyIt should also be pointed out that in the 24-2 season, Tyrel sat out the regular season loss due to an ankle injury.

KU to retire Hinrich’s No. 10

Awesome for Kirk!Too bad it couldn't be during the Feb 7th game with Oklahoma State. Coach Sutton coming down the bench to hug Kirk and Nick during Senior Night remains one of the classiest things I've ever seen.
