No...You guys don't know what happened and I don't either but Lod's been in Lawrence hanging out w/ his brother since / before the injury so don't make stupid comments like that mvjayhawk and strikewso.

Probably some drunk college student just trying to ruin things for an ex-college athlete. I mean he did play for USC but i've seen him on campus and at the rec, and he seems to be a very nice guy who's also pretty easy going.

The guy probably deserved to be punched in the face anyways...you know like most drunk college students :-)

WE don't know the whole story on why the football team isn't involved in this parade so we shouldn't jump to conclusions..

Maybe Mark Mangino doesn't want a parade for the football players....you know just like how he didn't want them to pour Gatorade on him at the bowl.... Maybe he thinks they don't deserve the parade yet because that was just the "orange bowl" and not the National title game...

Mangino is a very humble guy and i wouldn't be surprised if he disagreed to having such an event for the football team because he wants to [first] prove that they can win BCS bowl games on a consistent basis...Ultimately, he's happy w/ the success this year but he's no where near satisfied yet!

It wouldn't hurt Mario to test the waters but i think for the most part he'll be back unless he tears it up at the camps.

here are some of the guards that are possible entries to the 2008 Draft:

-Derrick Rose (top 2)
-J. Bayless (lottery)
-O.J. mayo (lottery)
-D.J Augustin (lottery-midfirst)
-Ty Lawson (mid-late..but his poor game against KU could hurt him)
-Eric Gordon (lottery)
-Darren Collison (lottery-midfirst)
-R. Westbrook (mid-late..athletic but i don't think he's proven himself at the college level..but seems like scouts love him)
(i'm not even including the seniors)

there are probably a few more...but these are possible first round draft picks..that's 8 guards out of the 30 picks in the first round....

It would be best if he stayed another year because if he drops to the 2nd round he's not guaranteed a contract.

jhwkfan1625, you don't need to add #15 because you already have a 1 @ the beginning and a 5 @ the end.. just thought i'd point that out to you..

great time to be a jayhawk!!!

If Beasley liked Kangaroo's that much he should have went to UMKC......

Vitale annoys the heck out of me too.. just watch, he's going to spend 1/2 the game talking about the ACC/Duke/UNC

And then the other 1/2 he's going to talk about The general

D is a team effort and you can blame the whole team... It's not like we suck but we need to get our intensity back...

and RalsterKUMed95... if Chalmer's was 3 inches taller he'd be competing against Mayo and Gordon as the 1st Shooting Guard taken this year in the NBA draft..maybe.. But i definitely love his new mentality...

I agree with what some of you guys are saying but at the same time if you guys heard what Coach Self said after the game was very true as well...

I don't know if you can say he's playing lazy D... I think he's just too aggressive...also as HCBS said it's really the guards fault too because they're allowing the opposing guards dribble penetration which puts our Bigs in bad situations....

they're playing pretty good D but at the same time we still have our flaws (like every team)...

about Knight... i respect him for his amazing resume but at the same time i'm quite disappointed and loose lots of respect for him for leaving the game in this manner. He always talks about playing hard and finishing but he didn't even finish the season...But much love to him and best of luck to whatever he does...

As for the team.. seems like they've lost something.. they need to have that swagger they had earlier this year.. I guess that could be a good thing knowing that we still have potential to peak

good point jayhawker_97... I was just kind of disappointed that Brandon disappeared in the 2nd half when we needed him because lots of our players were in foul trouble

He scored 12 in the 1st half...
If he would have scored 12 in the second half it would have been a completely different game (maybe)...

But i guess any team that makes 10+ 3's, outrebounds, and have less turn-overs... always have a good chance to win
