Around and about Lawrence on the night of the NCAA championship

Totally agree!I can't see many coaches doing that; wearing an opposing teams sticker. That was really something and he is definately a class act. LOVE OUR BILL, pay him up Lew!

KU secures 2008 NCAA crown, 75-68 in overtime over Memphis

I think what the ESPN sports commentators failed to bring up was the fact that this Kansas team won a title with not one all American player or one player averaging over 14 points per game. That to me is the true definition of a team, and it proves that a team beats one player anyday (Reynolds, Curry, Hansbourgh, CDR, Rose) WTG Hawks!I love Kansas and everything about what it stands for

A new chapter

Well said fansincewilt!I totally agree, I was upset for far to long about Roy. Again not because he left, we would have been fine had he left in 2000 but he made some pretty big loyality statements only to depart 3 years later. BUT, that being said, like fansincewilt stated, seeing Bill drop to his knees for his team and KU fans in hopes of this final four signifies how loyal Bill is to us. I love this team and I have no hard feelings for Roy anymore. This game should be about Bill and Bill's players! But I would be lying if you asked me who in college basketball would I love to beat more than anyone else on Saturday in the final four....GO JAYHAWKS!

Williams, Heels loom

All I have to say is that ESPN kept talking about how Kansas fans would "boo" Roy next week and that it would be expected. However I say that we do not boo Roy; not because I love him but because I love coach self and if we are booing Roy its a backwards way of saying that we are missing him. This game should be all about Kansas and Self. Once we win then we can talk all we want about how we beat Roy, but lets not boo him at the final four.

Davidson vs. Goliath

I love reading all comments on here, whether well written or poorly written. The point is we are all Jayhawk fans and I love reading the passion behind every post. All I have to say is that I hope KU is ready today but I hope most of all they are not satisfied with a final four birth. A championship still lies ahead.

Also as a Jayhawk fan living in SEC/ACC country (Atlanta, GA) lets cheer on the Big12 (Texas) and prove that our conference is definately underated!!!

Self shooting for first Final Four berth

There is so much talk about getting to the final four that if we do win I am afraid that the team and fans will think that we have reached our goal. I know I am thinking ahead but lets hope our teams hungar doesn't stop at the final four. After all a win today is only the beginning....there is a team that lies ahead that I would like to pound.

Jayhawks lets not stop at getting Bill his first final four but rather his first championship!!!!

GO JAYHAWKS!

KU gets No. 1 seed

I hope this game was the beginning of the hunger that I have been waiting to see from this team. LETS GO KU.

Also congrats to the big 12, lets cheer on the rest of our conference to show all the doubters how tough we are!

Tigers have Jayhawks on their minds

wow is this really happening! What a fantastic time to be a jayhawk fan. I never in my life would have imagined that our football team could be playing for a national championship before our basketball team. It is not here yet but just that sentence coming out of mouth is amazing! What a long week we must wait. GO KU!
