Thrown for a loss

I love my Jayhawks, but if we lose to Misery, finish 6-6 (with a losing record in the big 12) and don't beat a ranked team all season AND end up losing 5 of our last 6 games.....then there is no way we should end up Bowling anywhere.

Another Invite crown for K.C.

I honestly hope KU doesn't continue to recruit Dixon....UNLESS he works on his jump shot. He is quick as lightning, but his mechanics need a liitle help. He kind of reminds me of a Kenny Gregory...by that I mean a great athlete but lacks outside shooting ability. I watched him this weekend and he is a great team player....but I'm sure we can get some better gaurds. And good god....We have a cabinet full of gaurds for next year. Do you guys think we'll have some tranfers? Think about who we have next year...Collins, Morningstar, Reed, Teahan, Taylor, Releford, Appleton, Little, and possibly Chalmers. That's possibly 9 gaurds...NINE out of the 15 scholarships KU can have. I'm excited but dang!!!! Someone's probably gonna end up leaving. I hope not but.....

Turgeon not looking forward to KU game

Uh...no one was saying that the jayhawks are the "Almighty" or whatever...and my statement "true jayhawk fan" simply meant that you don't need a shirt GOOD OR BAD to prove you are a fan or that you hate mizzu. No matter where you go or who you represent, there will always be someone who makes you feel embarrassed or ashamed to be a fan. Show up at the game naked for all I care- just as long as you are cheering for the jayhawks. Think next time before you start bashing someone's OPINION.

Turgeon not looking forward to KU game

ESPN isn't calling out Mizzu because they are not KU. They are not at the same level as KU and ESPN probably knows that missouri fans are not capable of being civilized. We went there for a basketball game two years ago when KU lost in overtime after giving up a ten point lead in 1 minute...and I have never been so disrespected. We were spit at and called all kinds of names. And if you are a true jayhawk fan then you really don't even need a shirt to show how much you hate Mizzu. Just wear shirts that say "Go KU" or "Go Jayhawks" or whatever...

Boycott of KU-MU game urged

Moving the game to Arrowhead only takes away from the "on campus" game day experience-whether it be at Mizzu or KU...but I would never boycott the Jayhawks. The football team needs our support more then the Red Lyon needs beer sales. Lawrence, KU, and MU will all make money regardless of the game location. All I'm concerned about is KU putting a "W" in the win column.

JaRon Rush won't coach after all

Has everyone forgot where Boschee played college ball at? You mean to tell me he can't find any better prospects other than Jaron Rush. Don't get me wrong, it would be a great opportunity for Jaron to clean up his act, but Boschee has got to have more contacts and more credible coaching prospects. He came from a traditon rich program full of former players wanting to get into coaching....Nick Bradford, Jeff Hawkins...just to name a few....

well said just another fan...there would be no John Paxton without Michael Jordan...I'll take the Clarke kid just as long as KU lands 1 or 2 BIG TIME recruits with him

well...for all you Boshee lovers...this Clarke kid looks nothing like him...so keep looking. But as far as BASKETBALL goes...he arguably is the best shooter in the entire class of 2008

Keegan: Wright not KU's key cog

Well said DC Hawk...has anyone else seen what our zone offense looks like when Julian is not in the game...it suffers dramatically. I will definitely miss Rush's defense...there are not too many 6'6 forward/gaurds like Rush that come around often...but Wright will be missed more than people realize. "Replacing" one or the other I can live with...but replacing both.....OUCH
