Seeing red: Charlie Weis 'not content with anything' after KU's 54-16 loss to Texas Tech

With all due respect, I write this here note
to tell all the people that the play calling's a joke

Why change qbacks in the middle of success
then stand back and watch as your line is undressed

The fans are disgusted, the players are down
and football's not the same in this here town

We're all waiting to watch, a good winning team
One that shows up, and plays really mean

One that is coached, and carries the pride, of previous teams in the by and by
Teams that were Bowl bound, and coached to the max,
knew how to bounce the ball and pick up the jacks

It's sad to tell us to wait till next year, it seems that that's the only statement that we ever hear. We're all tired of waiting, for Charlie to rise, to the position of winning, before the demise

The pay is enough to make most coaches happy, so get off your butt and stop coaching crappy. Stay with a game plan that brings you the points, and stop messin round with those funny lookin joints.

The crowd is behind you, all the way, so let's change some things that will make them stay,
Stay in the bleachers til game is at end, and then head on home, and proud with the win. RCJKU

Wake up fans in B ball time, our team is ready to go
With 5 long months and lots of practice, we’ll surely make the show
It’s 2012 and 2013, the road is long and hard
But we can rest assured that Bills on top, and has chosen the right point guard
We’ve won a lot, and lost a few, the phog continues to flow,
But while playing the sweet sixteen, some how, we forgot to show
We hit em in the nuts, we played with guts, we scored and led the game
But in the end, our sloppy play, was just enough to send,
The winning team, and it wasn’t the hawks, went on to play again
While all the fans had nothing to do but write stupid articles and grin
Our faces are sad now, the season has ended, and we are all still breathing,
So it’s time to move on to the future ball team, and watch as the youngsters start teething,
For Bill’s got his work , and coaching don’t stop, decisions are made all the time
Who’s next to step up, and show us their game, so we can toss them out in the prime
It takes guts, and strength to weather a storm, shoulders so big and broad,
But let’s not forget that youngsters these are, and all have roads yet to trod.

UNC-ya: Halftime speech by seniors — not Bill Self — sparks KU in 70-58 win

Why must we wait for the second half to pull things together. McLemore looks completely lost, still we wait for him to blossom, other team is scoring, EJ still making bad passing decisions, other team is scoring, McLemore looks completely lost, other team is still scoring. Lots of potential sits on the bench. Fans are dying for someone to lead the team,,,,, Tharpe shows up, controlled shooting, controlled dribbling, controlled passing............team begins to score. Play combinations seem to be working, What is it that HCBS feels that the same 5 must start every game, and we the fans must sit back at take the simply pathetic form of basketball that is being shoved down our throats as the best there is. We have great players that have yet to be seen, and not so great that continue to keep us on the edge of our seats. Fresh new line up to change the pace, and change the start is due...... Let's win the first half, as well as the second half.....RCJH...........

What a tear jerker for the coaches kid, such a sweet demonstration of the affect a ball game has on even the young ones. Very moving picture, even though he was not the only one crying at the end. With the camera sweeps we saw a lot of Cyclone fans doing just that. Nail biter to the end....RCJHKU

First to ‘worst’: Lowly TCU stuns Jayhawks

You were the only one I knew by heart that I could pick on. And I didn't have anything intelligent to add to post, so you were singled out. Glad to read your post.
