#1 no i truly do love Bill Self. I think he's a phenomenal coach. But for whatever reason he doesnt coach his players good defense on the perimeter. Never has..... his ideology is make them beat us from the three point line. Yet, when a team does..... he has zero answer for it...... yes has a roster with 5 star players. It's very frustrating knowing every year if a team is hot from three.... you're toast. Yet if you watch a Coach K team or a Roy Williams team, or even an Izzo team.... they adjust everytime. Those coaches dfont get blown out by 25 at half in back-to-back years.

Sad Thoughts

1. Bill Self is my all-time favorite coach. He's competitive, amazing at adjusting and hardly ever gets out-coached.
2. I HATE Bill Self - why after 25+ years of coaching can you not set up a defense that protects the perimeter three? Folks it's not just luck that Villanova, Auburn, Oregon, Villanova, Bucknell, NI, etc. beat us! If you watch all of those games...... they ram our throats with three's right off the jump! They know that is a bill self coached teams weakness. Those teams are willing to miss their first however many shots to see if they can land them. Because they know if they do and they get hot, there's no stopping them and know way Kansas will recover. STOP BLAMING THIS ON LUCK....... it's not luck..... it's a gameplan that for whatever reason Bill Self cannot change his stupid plans and adjust!
3. Very concerned for next year..... out of everyone on the team the only true grit, grinders, clutch gene, competetive players we might have coming back are: (D. Lawson, D. Dotson)
4. I know they are Jayhawks but i'm just not confident in so many of our players.
5. This group is missing a Kansas connection.... they dont have passion or experience as Kansas prideful players...... they seem like a team of transfers, misfits, and quite frankly players who don't bleed crimson. The team needs completely revamped!
6. Who's at the top of the list to replace Self --- when he decides to leave?
7. Who thinks Silvie plays next year?
8. Who thinks D. Lawson or Azubuike returns?
9. Moore should transfer.
10. Grimes has no killer instinct -- I hope he transfers. He's not prideful. He lacks emotion. He hasd absolutely no killer instict or touch with the ball. I'd hoped he would be like a Brandon Rush..... uh..... no he's not an NBA player by a long shot!
11. I love Lightfoot but he is too undersized as a post player. He can only be used in situational games that we can get away with his size. Shame on Bill for not playing him more though...... he at least is competetive.
12. Mccormack? He's got alot to work on..... maybe becomes a little less reckless next year.

the one tally he had was a "steal" - i'm not sure i recall ever seeing such horrendous stats game after game by a 5 star player.... anyone????????? Can we play someone else?

If Beaty wins 2 big 12 games and at least is competing against the powerhouses..... probably should give him one last year to show what he can do with his guys.

Yes Andy..... I would hope our first fcs opponent would be a win by 2019... lol. And if the stadium is in fact as beautiful as the renderings..... I'd imagine a full house. There is 50k people in Lawrence who would go to the very first game at a brand new stadium. It's Kansas..... what else have we to do?

i'll be more inclined to actually go to games (a few times) just to check out a new stadium. I guarantee when it opens up, for the first few games it'll be close to sold-out.... regardless of win/loss. Hopefully the crowd turnout will help fuel our players to actually win and create a rolling-effect so to speak.
