Self: Jayhawks hoping to have Azubuike available in 'emergency' role Thursday vs. Penn

Chester's Chophouse is ~10 miles from downtown Wichita, unless they've got a secret second location.

KU basketball's Traylor, football's Coleman arrested early Sunday morning

"Interfering wih the duties of a police officer" is usually something like complaining about them arresting your friend, or recording what they're doing, or something else very much legal. Almost all of these charges are later dropped.

Aldrich had the go-ahead bucket with a minute left on a put-back dunk. And it looks like Withey and Aldrich both started... Withey had the best +/- on the day for the Pelicans.

I think jumping straight to an 80-game season when you couldnt even make it through a 30-game season without getting an overuse injury is the real risk.

Which scenario is more likely considering the stress fracture was an overuse injury?

1) His body can't keep up with the jump from 28 games to 82, and he ends up a bust because his body isn't durable enough to handle the rigors of an NBA season, gets his 2 years of money and is done (ala Greg Oden)

2) He injures himself again trying to play a 40-game season and ends up unable to play in the NBA (has this ever actually happened?)
2) He

Little national uproar over KU's loss to Stanford

I think the next time NBA players/owners can rework the collective bargaining agreement is in 2017 so any changes aren't really possible until then.

Edit: The NBA rule is the one that drives the entire process. Luckily the new NBA commish seems displeased with the current rules so I think its likely it'll get changed in 2017, unfortunately we still have 3 more years (at least) of OAD's to deal with.

Column: Absence proved Embiid’s worth

From what I understand, Cliff Alexander wasn't one of the players that was deemed ineligible. He also wasn't under academic suspension for the state playoffs (I think he was one of just two of their starters that could actually play)
