Aldrich tops final ratings, season standings
Without the big man in the middle we don't get past the first round of the NCAA tournament. We probably don't win the Big 12 and maybe don't even get into the tournament. Sherron' drives many times depended on Cole to clear for him or rebound. Were the Morris twins ready for any of this? It isn't all about scoring. I go with Cole.

FINAL: Aldrich gets first "official" triple-double in school history, helps KU to 60-43 victory
Great game today Jayhawks. I will never be a Collins fan but appreciated the way he tried in the early minutes to include all the players in the game. He couldn't help they weren't hitting and had every right to step up. I like Mario Little very much and hope he continues to contribute.
That said, maybe Cole's "inner lion" would have come out a long time ago if someone would have passed him the freakin ball! Keep it up Jayhawks!

FINAL: Dunn's 24 points lead Baylor to upset over top-seeded KU, 71-64
I don't know where to find the half-time stats, but I would swear it was the Team--not Collins who brought us back in the first half. It is hard for the Team to score when Collins brings the ball down and pops an airball without giving his teammates a touch, or does his famous drive into the trees. The problem with Collins' shot judgement and his tendancy to forget about the post players has been discussed on here many times, even after wins---and some fans were worried what would happen after he was allowed to wave off plays during the Oklahoma game.
Collins is a great player, but emotionally immature as when he showed up with that ridiculous haircut in the early season and played awful and when he sat and cradled the trophy between his legs last weekend. I thought that was just weird! He needs another year in college, but I really rather he would go to the NBA and let the rest of the Team have a chance to develop. I guess there is a good chance Cole will leave with his dad laid off from work. I hope his family situation works out and he chooses to stay another year.

Collins, Morningstar sit at 1-2 in Keegan Ratings
Great win Jayhawks! Speaking of Robinson--I check out the Bighorns occasionally. They have won their last three games and Russell averaged about 20 points (25 points in one game) and is playing about 35 minutes. We may see him playing on an NBA team yet.

Jayhawks upside down
I think there were 8 assists last night. That is the way this season has gone. Remember when more than one player would have several assists in a game? Remember when to have assists was more important than points?
When Collins is hitting he is awesome, but he does not make everyone on the court better. That just is not his style of point guard.

Clutch Collins tops competitive rankings
I agree Taylor kept us in the game and should have taken the number 1 spot. I also agree while Collins had the big finish last night---his game plan may cost the team down the road. There is a tendency to forget the big guy for long stretches. Brady is good at feeding the post, but foul trouble and the fact he was a lttle out-matched last night hurt him. I guess I am cautiously optimistic for team. Great Win Jayhawks!

FINAL: Collins' clutch threes secure KU's 87-78 victory over No. 3 OU
Can someone tie Holly Rowe up and stick her in a closet. I would have loved to see the comeback instead of Griffin's parents. This is terrible camera work tonight.
However great comeback Jayhawks.

Marcus Morris tops Keegan Ratings in KSU victory
Sometimes good defense, ticking a guy off and taking an elbow to the back can be a game changer. Good job Brady. Good job Jayhawks!

18-rebound day gives Aldrich top Keegan honor
I like Tyrel, but thought his passing was very weak yesterday. No way he goes ahead of Morningstar.

Collins, despite rough 1st half, tops ratings
I read this about a point guard recently, "He is the classic point guard who makes everyone around him better." Noone can say that about Collins. Russell Robinson was a good point guard who could score and Collins is a good scorer who can play point guard. Hope Taylor gets back in the groove again.
