Did the BCS get it right?

What should happen and why it won't.

In all fairness the fact of the matter is Mizzery should not be playing in the Championship game. It should be the top 2 BCS teams in the Big 12 Texas vs OU for the title and a spot in the BCS title game. It would not be fair to the Big 12 North but that would only be a problem if KU was the one getting screwed. Tex vs OU would assure the winner getting a shot for the National Title in the BCS championship game, but it may knock one of the teams out of a BCS bowl leaving only 1 Big 12 participant getting a big payday for the conf. instead of 2. That would be too much of a financial risk for the Conference. Texas should not have to beat OU twice but I'm sure they would like that opportunity rather than sitting at home watching the two teams they've beat play for their conferences title.

In a perfect world if Alabama loses and OU wins it should be Tex vs OU for the National Title and Tech playing FLA in a BCS bowl. Really besides maybe the Rose Bowl matchup who gives a crap about VT or BC vs Cin and Utah vs Ohio State or Bama. The Bowls really stink with rarely any high powered matchups, VT isn't even in the AP top 25 and they are a possible BCS team??? The BCS is a total joke.

The Top two BCS teams in each BCS conference should play for their Conference Cahmpionship and the top two BCS at large teams should play. All winners moving on to a playoff system using the bowls.

KU football notebook

Worthless article, whoever signs your paycheck should be fired. Looks like we're going to the Insight bowl projected to play Wisconsin. A great chance to showcase KU football but unfortunately that Bowl Game is aired on the NFL Network. These bowl games are a great chance for young future recruits to get a look at schools they may be interested in. Heck I dont even subscribe to the Nfl network how many potential recruits are going to get it and if they do think to go to that channel to watch cfb? NFL should stick to showing the NFL!

Wounded warriors key KU’s Border War victory

What a gutsy performance by this team to keep fighting the way they did it was a beautiful thing to watch. These players made me proud to be a Jayhawk and I'm so glad to have them representing the University of Kansas!

That hit Reesing took as he was sliding to the turf would have put most QBs out of the game, but he bounced back up like he wasn't touched. These guys were Warriors and there was no denying them! Reesing Sharp Meier Stuckey Dez Seniors linemen......

Xavier Henry involved in car accident

X is a Memphis tiger the family had planned to discuss it that night. CJ was already flying back to help X confirm his decision and to be at his side during his TV presser donning the tigers hat, which will now be delayed. It's a done deal, he wants to showcase his one and done skills like derrick rose with a coach that has been in the nba, and it will be his last opportunity to play ball with his brother.

Go hawks good luck X.

Not-so-cheap seats

They better improve the looks of the exterior of those things they will look like crap on TV, nothing looks worse than temporary risers or those camera stands made out of 2x4's and plywood we had down there last year.

Seriously at least cover up that scafolding sp? underneath that just looks cheap, put some hedges or something around it that looks permanent and classy.

Whats next an above ground pool with a deck and jayhawk lounge chairs for those 1st few games?

Hell if people are willing to pay for that type of stuff, I don't mind reaping the benefits of watching KU teams that compete and win at the elite level. $$$$
