Kaun, others honored
I'm with you natehawk. Makes me wonder if there are plans to move campus to KC in our future. Lawrence is the home of the Jayhawks. Our games and our celebrations should be taking place at home and the Athletic Department should be sharing the wealth with our local businesses, not Kansas City (MO or KS).

Conference honors six Jayhawks
I'd love to see that conference first team play together. There's a barnstorming tour for ya. Congratulations to them all.

Seasons change
I suppose this is something we're going to have to listen to every basketball season. Roy, Roy, Roy. Enough. He left. It's an old story of which we'll never have the entire truth. Sorry he feels like he has to slink in and out of town, but maybe that also says something about his leaving and the story we've heard.
I do agree with rosewta, the timing stunk and it's a sad shame our Jayhawks had to spend a week, no, several weeks in misery (remember the awards ceremony???) instead of celebrating. For that, I'll always hold a grudge and both coaches Smith and Williams should feel ashamed.
We have a great coach in Bill Self. And I'm sure he gets tired of hearing this story every year, too. Let's move on. Go Jayhawks and go whomever is playing the Tar Heels.

Talk helps Jackson
Ditto to all the comments above. Darnell, hang in there. With the support you're receiving from your wonderful Coach, the team, and your fans you are learning to make the best out of a bad situation and will be a stronger, wiser, more compassionate young man. Some before you have not appreciated nor taken advantage of that opportunity. This type of story makes me even more proud of our Jayhawks.

KU baits Gators in OT, 82-80
Whoo hoo! Whoo hoo! Whoo hoo! It's just too exciting. You're right Jayloco, it's all about the Jayhawks tonight. (Nice of you to peek out jared1426.) Coach Self's reaction was priceless. I'm going to try and get some sleep now. What a game.
