KU football's top 10 surprise players
Max O has shown flashes in previous seasons and looks to finally be putting it together, while Harris started for the 2008 Orange Bowl champs -- hardly surprises, especially given the amount of time they've spent w/ the program. #1 is TO, and it isn't close. Obviously, he was a highly-touted player coming out of high school, but I don't think anyone expected him to make this big of an impact this early. Without him, I don't know if we beat So. Miss.

Woods looks to give KU pass rush some pop
"1. Improbably and impressively, the former Bakersfield College standout managed to pack nearly every known sports cliché into a single sentence — a feat that may never be duplicated."
And improbably and impressively, Dugan Arnett offers up yet another unfunny, meant-to-be-funny bit of commentary in his neverending quest to become Bill Simmons Lite. Give it a rest, man.

Prep receiver Terry picks KU
I mean, I guess. Still, it's just a stupid article to run all around, especially when they've been mum since the Terry rumors started Friday. Why nothing then? Publishing this story today just seems ... contrarian Especially when the source isn't as reliable as, you know, KEESTON TERRY. It's just lazy. But congrats on the web hits, I guess.

Prep receiver Terry picks KU
Or maybe you should fire your headline guy. Is that you, Keegan? You could have at least titled it something like "HS Coach says prep receiver still undecided" or "Dugan Arnett attempts to stir the pot with a lazy counter story to the Terry commitment rumors." Once again, awesome job all around.

Prep receiver Terry picks KU
Excellent work, J-Dub. Terry to KU rumors have been running rampant since Friday, the Lincoln Journal Star has quotes from Terry himself saying, Hey, I'm switching to KU, yet you decide to run with Dugan's article the following MONDAY with a couple "ironclad" quotes from his high school coach. Bang-up reporting.
By the way, Rivals has a commitment story up now if you need quotes for tomorrow's correction article.
