djkc28 you exhibit true stupidity. I have my own problems with some Catholic issues, for lack of a better phrase, but won't go into it in a sports setting. How absurd. Let's get in-laws and politics in too, huh? People are usually what they were born. You better worry about some foreign terrorists of other religions, because they would like to kill you. I haven't heard of any Christians wanting to kill others on that basis here. Really brain spasmed of the lifelong variety. Based on your discrimination, I should drop all of my Catholic friends and they should probably drop me too. All on the basis of how you worship? There are many beliefs that it is hard to see where they came from and that do not make sense. These have nothing to do with college basketball or any other sport, save possibly... if you play the Lions in the coliseum?
Whatever...
The son(s) of Henry are welcome at KU.
Carl Henry was a pure shooter and Jayhawk royalty. We have been waiting for more sons of the Hawk, especially potentially great ones.
I invite you to return to Missouri where you came from, and quit pretending... or back to a country where religious tolerance is not one of the foundational tiers. Yeah, dud... it's in the Constitution.

don't care. don't care about independence high. This is about John Hadl and Lawrence. Don't care about badgers. If you read, you have read many times that there are many who think he should be in the hall.
If Len Dawson wanted to play another year after he retired... I would let him play for the Chiefs based on his royalty status. He won the Super Bowl. That is enough.
If Bret Favre wants to play another year for the Packers, and they say no, they can stupid out all they want... I will be happy to see him play for the Chiefs. I don't care about any arguments by anyone, it is all media anyway, but the mgmt of the Packers really bite if they don't just treat him like a king. I expect he could pack them in again. If Barry Sanders had come back after he retired, mgmt would only have asked where and when to hitch em up.
I don't care at all about the Green Bay Packers, except with Favre, what a special football personality, they were my favorite team. Lord knows the Chiefs have not been occupying that spot. I will be happy to go back to the skins or the boys or whoever in the nfc if Favre isn't there. He should play somewhere if he wants to play. If Elway did the exact same thing, would Denver have turned its back?
I would say Favre is America's QB. Next would be Brady and the Mannings, but Favre is the man.

wrong davey,
The consciousness is raised. We speak out against the no class behavior of wearing that shirt. I think the students will find they are not appreciated if they demonstrate a no class attitude, unacceptable on Mount Oread.
Ladies and gentlemen, be what you are supposed to be at Kansas.
How about a nice feel good shirt like:
"Torch the Tiger Lily Hillbillies"?

muck fizzou has got to go. no class. pure trash. leave the no class shirts to mu and ksu. Besides, we are number 1. Number 1 shirts are suiting me just fine!
Freedom of speech does not, in my perfect world, protect obscenity.
Now, shirt makers, listen well. Use my original MU basher phrase and make a shirt that calls them
"Tiger Lily Hillbillies". Can't beat that one!

Paul Pierce is the truth. Known to one and all. The Celtics rule, as they did in the days of Jo Jo White.
All things basketball start and end at Kansas.
It is the circle of life.
All detractors may return to the Misery zoo now.

Apparently KGphoto has not seen live action or films of the great Gale Sayers. There is a reason he is the Kansas Comet. And you don't trash talk Jayhawk royalty. He is the singular greatest running back in Kansas history, and one of the greatest in NFL history. everyone else on the field was in slow motion compared to him. Obviously his statement of possible yardage assumes good health. Duh. And they can repair knee injuries much better today.
But if you had heard Gale Sayers speak you would hear some humility and a message about prefering to be remembered a lot more for things other than football, such as motivating young men to excel academically. He reminds them that there are thousands of jobs in demand in areas such as computer technology whereas comparatively a select few make it in the NFL and then for only a relatively short period of time.
I believe I heard he has a software company in Chicago. I have not heard anything to indicate he yearns for younger days, dwells in the past, or in any way feels sorry for himself. He merely responded to a question someone asked him. In case you missed it, he was an honorary captain at the Orange Bowl.
You, on the other hand, sound like you are from MU. Therefor, without reservation, I wish you good luck...
escaping from your stupidity.

Usain Bolt. When I saw Mr. Lightning run, a man among boys, Longhorn QB Vince Evans flashed into mind, running downfield against the beloved Hawks, and everyone else, a man among boys.
