Taylor welcomes family’s support

Good question nobody 1793. Wonder if his Mother was one of his Facebook "friends"?

Julian Wright ranked ahead of Kirk Hinrich? What gives?

Matt - Sorry for busting your balls! I agree 100% that Pierce should be substantially higher than Wright. I commented yesterday on the boards that Hinrich wasn't listed in the top 100 Guards and there was garbage ranked ahead of him. The PER is far from being a PERfect indicator of true talent and worth.

Julian Wright ranked ahead of Kirk Hinrich? What gives?

Matt - Your original quote, ....."who has yet to play a single meaningful minute in an NBA game". Now you ask - "When has he played in a crucial part of a game that meant something"? What next? So regular season games mean nothing? He had a few "meaningful" minutes in many regualr season games. If the Hornets lost a playoff game in which Julian played - then he didn't play a meaningful minute?

If you need a meaningful minute (PLAYOFF GAME) from Julian in a Hornets win - how about looking at the game against Dallas on April 27th 2008? Chose one of those 19 minutes in which he scored 11 points.

Julian Wright ranked ahead of Kirk Hinrich? What gives?

Matt - What the hell is this supposed to mean? "Julian Wright (14.30), who has yet to play a single meaningful minute in an NBA game". Are we to assume you know nothing about NBA Basketball? I would love for you to elaborate on your comment.

Kansas’ image ugly after ridiculous turf war

Some of you need to step out of your shells. Mayer hit the nail on the head. KU's image has been tarnished by this. It was a stupid thing that took place. The players and coach Self even alluded to it being something that lacked respect for the school. It's a shame it happened. It's a shame it made the national news, it's a shame we are still discussing it. If it never happened and the athletes used better judgement we wouldn't be talking about it. Hopeefully the lesson has been learned and we all can move on.

It’s time to call a truce

Athletes who represent the University fighting each other over a girl is a major embarrassment. Too bad some of you are not bright enough to realize this. There is more to it than just a few idiots getting in to a scuffle. Try and see the big picture here.

Bucs’ CB Talib arrested for allegedly hitting cabbie

Just another stupid move by a stupid guy. He fed all of us his b.s. about how he is a better person since the birth of his child. Some of you were foolish enough to believe it.

Big 12 Media Days, Day 2

Jesse - Wonderful reporting and I thank you for doing as such but just a heads up - under the head line on the "front page" of this site it states.....

Live blog: Big 12 Media Days, Day 2
Nebraska, Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma will take part in the Big 12 football media days on Tuesday in Irving, Texas.

Obviously it's not Nebraska but Missouri that will be taking part today.

Hinrich still a hot name

trufan & anyone else - I like Matt and the fact that he responded to my comment. He came up with some things he has heard and believes. ZERO wrong with that. My point was to complement him on taking the time to share what he knows and to also express most of us can only speculate. I would prefer to read what Matt has to say over Keegan or Mayer 365/366 days a year. Keep up the good effort Matt.

Hinrich still a hot name

Hinrich is a luke warm name at best. The Bulls are not looking to move him. If they receive an offer they may entertain it but the Bulls are not the ones seeking any trades involving Hinrich at this time.

I don't understand why you wrote this - "Two former Jayhawks who most certainly will have new homes next season are power forward Drew Gooden and point guard Jacque Vaughn". Followed by this - "For all we know..........Vaughn could be back with the Spurs". In other words you wrote a blog blurb and have no clue what may or may not happen in terms of Hinrich and former KU players. I still give you an A for effort though.
