mutt627- I'm sure you and your friend were model citizens. I've never been to the Arrowhead jail but had a couple of friends that were sent up the river for a couple of quarters of a Raiders game. Hmmm... Raiders and Tigers are similar creatures.

Aldrich plays big

Are you guys all smoking the crack? No one is talking about Taylor enough (oh this is a Cole article) and this guy is a friggin' stud. He is about as smooth a freshman as I've ever seen play at KU and, yes, that includes the mistakes. I know he wasn't a major scorer in high school but this guy could go for 20 every night if he decides he "wants" 20.

After we won the title in '88 it seemed like it would never happen again :-) I had great seats for the championship game and nothing really bothers me right now. I'm cool as a cucumber and am ready to give this team a lot of rope.

It shouldn't really surprise any of us regarding the South being superior. Look at the $$$ spent per institution and it's pretty clear what is making the difference.

OU better learn to play better D or they won't be fighting for a B12 title. I know they can outscore some teams but it will take both ends to make a championship-type team. I think the South is gonna beat each other up to the point that KU will have an opportunity for another B12 title. Yes... the North opponents are weaker but a trophy... is a trophy... and I'll take it!!

Another thing. The team is playing D tonight moreso than the previous games. I'm not saying that they are exceptional on D but the effort has been there. It's nice to see young guys "buying-in" for at least one early season game. Let's hope they continue to work very hard because that is their ticket to success until Big12 play.
