Sorry HAYS_Hawk. With the plethora of girls that look like this in Hays, KS you have simply become immune to good looking women. I wander what O'Connor is up to these days...

Perkins calls meeting with KU football, basketball players; statement issued

Chill out, people. Did you ever want to beat the tar out of someone? Did someone ever want to beat the tar out of you? Let me be first to say that this is completely childish and embarrassing for KU but it's also something that occurs whenever testosterone is involved at any high school or college across America.

If there was a woman involved then I think that any man could understand. Does anyone know why the fracas started? If not, then you shouldn't make judgements and declarations just because you may have been fortunate enough to live in a non-violent, harmonious setting your entire life.

Fighting is stupid. Fighting still happens. Fighting will continue to happen.

A new Shannon to replace the old one. Say...have they filled all of the positions for the Women of KU calendar?

Game balls and Gassers

TWO people got a game ball and a gasser. I think Keegan might be a little too close to the team if he is worried about offending players.

KU basketball will be a part of ESPN's College GameDay ... in Manhattan

chrishauser- ESPN has been to Mancrappin' twice before for the football version of College Gameday. It's certainly a dump but they already know that going in.

Henrickson signs three-year extension

I have trouble with this contract but I must trust Lew in this situation. He doesn't make many dumb decisions so I have to believe that Bonnie-ball is getting ready to turn into something soon.

Tuesday's open KU football practice canceled

Holy cow! I just saw something about the possibility of new practice fields and a state of the art facility near Kivisto Field. Low and behold I was walking around there this afternoon and it's already built. Mangino was even scribbling on the chalkboard so they may want to darken the tint a little more. I swear he was drawing up the "trickery" that we're gonna open up on Oklahoma this year!!

All kidding aside... I walked around the area today and it nearly brought me to tears. I still find it difficult to comprehend how 1st class the practice fields are and the gates are prettty damn cool. I think we should all start calling him Uncle Lew for pulling off the inconceivable. The turf was in packaged rolls and there looked to be about a truckload of them so it's not surprising that they won't be ready.

Why not just hold court on the practice fields?

Ticket Marketplace to be offered online

Maybe I'm in the minority but I am so glad that the white guy who stands on the corner and employs all of the African-American's will no longer profit from overpriced tickets to basketball games. I can't tell you the number of times that he was holding 50 tickets to a sold-out game and I always wondered what "insider" was helping him acquire the tickets. Seems like a great idea to let KU profit from the scalping.

Time to get a real job, Mr. Scalper Man. Lew has taken your LAwrence privileges away like Marcellus Wallace did to Butch in Pulp Fiction.
