When this story initially broke Beasley was mentioned as in the room but not involved. Now ESPN took that part out of the story and there is no mention of him at all. A little odd.
Lew Have you ever heard the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? First you change the Border War to the Border Showdown, which I can let slide due to the times, and then raise Mangino's pay for doing mediocrity, now this. Come on Sweet Lew, you are better than this????!! Long live the Border War in Lawrence and Columbia, not KC.
"I was young and immature at Kansas," he said. "Now I'm here, and I'm going to grow up. People grow from their mistakes. The things that got me in trouble in Lawrence, I've learned from that, and I know what I need to change. I've admitted my mistakes. I'm here to start fresh."
So you were young and immature three months ago and all of the sudden you are grown up. A real man faces his problems, he doesn't run from them.
jayloco That was an all Pac-10 crew. And all I have to say is worst crew ever. The example is Shady's fourth foul. The "moving screen" foul. Good thing it didn't cost us a win. How did a Pac-10 crew get into our house?
On ESPN all access to the Duke "Fans" it showed that the students use a cheer sheet of what cheers they are doing at what time in the game. Bad form man, you can't script the ROCK CHALK!! Few things in sports bring goose bumps to my skin like the Rock Chalk Chant. Who's with me?
Whatever happened to three strikes and your out. There are plenty of other upstanding individuals who would kill for the chance to play D1 football. It is a shame that he was allowed to keep his "FOOTBALL" scholarship after he was kicked off the FOOTBALL team. Kansas University needs to cut all ties with this Bonehead. I mean come on!!

Border War moving to Arrowhead for 2007 and 2008
Is this a master plan to make it KC's problem when the goalposts are meaninglessly torn down?

Self rants, KU rolls
Looks like we found out what it takes to get this team going. Self should get a T right out of the gates every game.
