Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

I'm near tears here reading the last posts. I feel as though I am losing a handful of great friends. It's been a blast. I sincerely hope we can all meet up again sometime in this lifetime...
Jaybate, HEM, Atl, MileHigh, Blown and others I'm forgetting hope to see your writing styles and opinions here in the future (if not let me know where!)

Just a few hours until the curtain closes on a beautiful era. Dylan Shotton

Nice to meet you Mr. Weagle Hawk. Glad to know you've also been posting under your real name this whole time too.

It's not the real name that bothers me it's the link to my life. I don't care if you know who I am just stay out of my bank accounts, leave my friends and family alone, and if you offer candy to my kid I'm breaking you in two, stranger.

Could LJW just use your credit card info without a charge to verify your name and age much more accurately than the fake Facebook account I will be forced to set up. Should my real name be nacho libre or John Smith or Jay Hawk?

Hi Jim, I'm Dylan. I won't be commenting on here anymore, because Facebook ruins peoples lives. (Sarcasm Facebook is just terrible) I would gladly use my full name if necessary, but want nothing to do with Facebook.

Why do you think the change is really being made? This is the most civil forum I've ever read. Even when newbies come on here they get straightened OU pretty quick, so what gives?

I came to this snap judgement based on a small sample size that allowed me to deduce that she was deserving of a derogatory term to describe her. She had crazy hair, extremely bright tight in all the wrong places clothes that were half falling off, a thick Missourri inner city accent, 3" fingernails, and was screaming at the top of her lungs while wagging her finger in his face and doing the chicken head thing. There's more, but I think you get it.

If you don't judge people quickly based on the visual and audio clues given you will inevitably end up on the wrong end of the stick.

Lack of self control cost Mangino his job.

You obviously didn't see this Missouri girl to defend her honor.
