Game 3: KU vs. Central Arkansas
Although they did get the same grade... I think I had Markieff as an A- before remembering that he had the put-back dunk and raising him up to an A. So really, I could have lumped them together again!

Collins edged out for top spot in ratings

is CJ Henry on scholarship? I thought he was a walk-on because the Yankee's were paying for his schooling... if so should he be included in the keegan ratings? I think there is some stipulation about rating the jayhawks scholarship players...

Being the 3rd best Jayhawk last night was not nearly as meaningful as being the 3rd best jayhawk against Hofstra...

Game 1: KU vs. Hofstra
I agree that Reed is hurt the most by the arrival of Henry and the return of Morningstar. Henry has an outside shot, unlike Releford and Little (who Reed would be fighting for minutes if Henry wasn't here) and has a size and athleticism advantage over Reed. Until Morningstar's return, Reed's minutes will depend on whether his shot is falling and how Elijah Johnson is playing that game (as freshmen are prone to just having bad games every now and again).
However, I disagree with the frustration caused be Reed. I think when Reed's shot is falling he is a fundamentally sound player who can benefit the team. Last night he passed and handled well (3 assists and no turnovers) played defense (a steal and a block), etc... so even though he was 0-4 from the floor, he was valuable to the team. Also, if Reed could learn to draw contact he'd be a valuable asset, as he is an excellent free throw shooter. Morningstar and Reed are essentially the same player, unfortunately for Reed, Morningstar has a little bit more size and athleticism, and a reputation (well deserved) as a lockdown defender, so he'll probably win out on playing time when he returns from suspension.

I'd put the Morris twins above Johnson here.

Meier takes top spot with big day
and for #3 Stuckey... how about the TD that he watched go into the hands of his reciever that he could have easily swatted away or intercepted...

Smyth, Heere taken in MLB Draft
if the guys who are still eligible and those incoming guys stick with KU then we have a chance to be really special. Those guys can get guarantees where if it doesn't work out a team will pay for all or the rest of their schooling, so it can be hard to say no since finishing college is still a viable option if baseball doesn't work out. Best of luck to all the guys, it is fun catching little tid-bits of KU guys working their way up.
Travis Metcalf and Mike Zagurski have both had a cup of coffee in the majors, and Erik Morrison is tearing up A-ball this year as well. Best of luck whether you all return to KU or decide to go pro!

Todd has already said that he doesn't want to be an NFL quarterback... that won't win him a job.
