Self, Gillispie reunite at coaches clinic
Just curious to know. Is there a player we are recruiting that does not have Kentucky on its list. Gee Wiz. Every freaking player has Kentucky on its list. John Callipari can recruit. The problem is that in 7 or 8 years Kentucky will be on probation while Coach John Callipari leaves for another run in the NBA or taking over another college program.

KU men’s basketball notebook
Give the guy a break. Have we all made mistakes in our past. I certainly have. Lets hope and pray that Billy is getting things under control. Who knows maybe he can use his past to help people today learn from his mistakes. Maybe he will talk about coaching and substance abuse. Plus we do have a justice system in this country. Billy as long as I know has not been charged with a crime. I know he is waiting trial on a suspicion of a DUI but not charged. Innocent until proven guilty. Let the process go through the system before we cast judgement. This shows me that Coach Self is a true friend. Billy right now needs help and support. A true friend will be there to help and guide his friend. You don't agree with decisions made in the past but friendship should be unconditional.

NCAA announces Memphis will be required to forfeit 2007-08 victories
Hopefully this will end any discussion of John Calipari ever coming to KU. God for bid if anything happens to Bill Self. I remember when Roy Williams left and several people thought John Calipari would be a great choice for KU. Thank God we got Bill Self. Look at John Calipari's history. UMass and now Memphis. Probably safe to say in about 6 to 8 years you can add Kentucky to that list.

Report: Memphis accused
The latest prediction in Vegas on the over/under for Kentucky being put on probation is 6 years. By that time Calipari would leave Kentucky and head to the NBA for another chance. John Calipari, God Bless him but people. When I hear his name it makes me squirm. The guy will win and he will recruit. As a program is it worth it. It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to bring down Kentucky. My money is on the over. OUT.

Final answer? KU
Let the speculation begin on our starting line up. Here we go.
1. Sherron Collins
2. Tyshawn Taylor
3. Xavier Henry
4. Cole Aldrich
5. Morris Twin (the one that started. they look to much alike)
Key Reserves:
1. Mario Little
2. Morris Twin(the one that did not start)
3. Thomas Robinson
4. Chris Withey
5. Travis Releford
6, Brady Morningstar
7. Tyrel Reed
8. C.J. Henry
Not bad. Should be fun. Just a thought. We do have one scholarship to give out. Do we hold on to it for the following year or is there a chance that Lance Stephenson could still come. If he is a one and done why not come and win a national title. Just a thought.

Reesing rising
Todd Reesing = Stud. What a hard ass. I love this guy. This guy rocks. I would love to have this guy on my team any day. Todd Reesing is NAILS. Tough. He will go down as one of the if not the most popular football player in KU history. Can't wait for football season. Todd Reesing is the true meaning of a college athlete. It shows how he plays the game and how it shows in the classroom. Keep up the had work Tood. You make all KU fans proud.

Self coach-of-year finalist
Coach Capel and Coach Anderson are left off this list. What a joke. Bell Self will and should get coach of the year. Coach Capel and Coach Anderson should get some consideration. Can someone tell me why Bruce Webber would be on this list. Talk about a guy that SUCKS. Goofy looking. Things have not been the same since Bill Self left that program for greener pastures.
