Perhaps Mr. Greene would have been satisfied if the Chancellor had just mentioned his sister. I know that would mean more to the "majority of students" than some ridiculous men's national basketball championship or Orange Bowl victory.
Would Mr. Greene be satisfied if, say, highway signs pointing to Lawrence were updated to honor Mr. Greene's sister, perhaps with a photo in place of that grotesque symbol of athletics, the jayhawk.
Hard to blame the secondary for Bowman's success, given he was being covered by linebackers on all four of his TDs. It should come as no surprise he was running right past man coverage.
If the student section is so critical, then perhaps they should move them to the center of the East stands.
Moving them so far towards the bowl has limited their effectiveness to one side of the field, as well as taken away the noise factor for the opposing coaches.
It's a shame to waste such a great turnout from a suddenly energized student body by sticking them almost in the bowl.
Woodling: '07-'08 huge year, but best?

Self on OSU: 'I'm not a candidate'
The real story here is the frenzy.
Bill Self could walk out of Allen Fieldhouse wearing a "F*** OSU" t-shirt and it would have no effect on the frenzy.
The frenzy is the story.

Allen Fieldhouse set for another facelift
I hope when they are doing the work on the concourse, restrooms, and concessions they do their best to make Allen a "green" facility.
All upgrades to state-owned facilities should be required to meet the maximum energy efficiency standards.

KU releases site plans for football facility
I wonder how much KUAD paid for somebody to copy a Google Earth map and put big green dots on it.
Best guess? $10,000.
