Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

+1

I have always enjoyed your posts (and many others). Def feels like some users are friends and others those annoying people who even when wrong get louder

I am debating on my level of protest for this site, sadly I may not even come to read any more.

Good Day Mr. Oakville and thanks for all you have contributed.

Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

Seems like you would be fine leaving this site as is, and only implementing this new policy for the LJWorld site.

Im sure the real issue is with political articals and 2-3 idiots made some threating remark, someone went to press charges and there is no trail to their identity. Thus the website is liable, so they have to do this....

Or you could seperate the websites since there really aren't issues on these boards?

Self: KU needs Tharpe to be irreplaceable

It happens every two years or so with Coach Self, someone is in the doghouse. They get yanked after one mistake, they get a verbal assault and there are comments on here about a transfer.....Then they come back stronger, and become the leaders (which a PG should be). The "short leash" and whipping boy is a classic break them down to build them up strategy, and it seems to work for those that can withstand the initial torture.

Similar to others, I had FB and never wish to have it again.

Love how a few bad apples spoil something I truly enjoyed doing. But if a few people complain they get their way. This is BS and I am not happy about it.

This almost takes all the joy I had from Oubre signing.

How can you not sign after that seeing how we do Late Night?

Anyone else read King McClure's comments? Talking about how him and his dad were so amazed at the 5k people standing outside of the feildhouse when they drove up?

Kansas hoops recruit Kelly Oubre feels ‘love’

I too fear becoming what we all hate, a OAD stop.

What is nice is we have a limited number of schollies for the next few years, so we shouldnt have more than 3-4 in any given year. The uk way is load with 5-8 OAD then do it over the next year. I think Self is trying to find the right mix of experience and potential. I too worry about becoming what we hate, but I trust Self. And I think there could be a mix that plays out.

Opinion: KU freshmen vs. vets could spice up Late Night

I toolove Directv, but the ability to watch late night and the other 4 games is reason enough for me to want to switch to time warner....that or I will just have to breakdown and buy the online viewing.

I hope this isnt an issue in future years.
