Report: Heat's Beasley checks into rehab facility
Depression is a consuming imbalance. While I disagree with Jayhawkinnc, I am encouraged by the fact that he has the resources and where-with-all to recognize the need for help.
Good luck, Michael. Get things right internally, and the rest will follow suit!

Jayhawks' first-round foes back in North Dakota battling flooding river
And still, NDSU shows tremendous heart! What a team! It was a privelege to play them in their first NCAA tournament.
Truly something I expect all KU fans to remember fondly. What an amazing group of people.
Prayers and thoughts are with you!

Sherron Collins: One-on-One
One thing I wish they would have asked...was about his 3 after his steal. That was clutch.

Darnell Jackson's letter to KU fans
Wow!With the embarrassing judgement of some basketball players over the last couple of days, I for one needed to read this letter. We all know Darnell's struggles throughout his career. Nobody could blame him if he had stayed home. I certainly wouldn't have. But what he realized that he did have a family. Family that extends past the walls of the Phog. Past the borders of not only the state but of the country. This family is international and passionate.Congratulations Darnell.Congratulations on the national championship. Congratulations on the contract wth the Cavs.Congratulations on earning your degree.Within Darnell beats the heart of a Jayhaw and I have counted it a privelege to watch him off and on the court over the past 4 years.Facing weighty trials, most people seek to merely survive. Darnell thrived. That is inspiring. Stuff that movies are made of.In closing, does anyone else think Darnell would be a wonderful ambassador for KU on the recrutiing trail? He could speak personally of the family that is KU basketball. Is that even within the rules? Would appreciate an answer from someone with a little insight.

Side note: Danny is going to have his work cut out in teaching a lot of young big men tricks of the trade. Who better to learn from?

Boosters Kivisto, Anderson thrilled Self staying at KU
Speaking of Pollard. It would have been a great story to get former KU player's reactions (even NC's assistants) to the national championship. Heck, Julian was at the game...someone ask him a question.Maybe there is a story like that. If you have heard of one...post the link
