KU tastes Sweet-ness for first time since 2004

JEEEEZZ EVERY TIME RANDOLPH MORRIS TOUCHED THE BALL A FOUL WAS CALLED IN KU. ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS. HE HAD 20 POINTS 14 OF WHICH WERE FROM THE FREETHROW LINE. HOW ABOUT CALLING IT BOTH WAYS REF. AND NOT TO MENTION THE PERFECT BLOCK THAT KAUN HAD WHICH THE CALLED A FOUL ON. THE REFS HAD IT OUT FOR KU THIS GAME. BUT EVEN THE REFS ARE NO MATCH FOR KU!!!!

Second half free throws help KU get over another Big Monday hump

The Keegan Ratings: Sherron a sixth wonder

Great game last night...has anyone noticed that since we've been on this streak that Kaun's playing time has gone down? I'm not bashing Kaun but he hasn't really been a factor in this streak.

Five Jayhawks in double figures in rout

ill say it, ive been a self basher, and ill make a post in this win. Things arent back to normal just because we beat at team by 30. We beat OSU by 30 and then barely win at iowa state and dont play well until baylor. this game doesnt prove anything......yet..i wasnt able to watch the game so i cant look at all the good or bad things we did or didnt do in this game so ill just say it was a much needed win at home

Keegan: Digger pinpoints letdowns

BigTrav, lol, you got me all figured out! by the way there is a comedy club up the street, how about you go audtion up there? (by the way, self does have his hand up there butts controlling their every move)

we dont have 8-10 years to start evaluating a coach at Kansas, and it shouldnt take that long anyway. Look at A&M..that happened in 3 years. I'm not saying that we should change our whole offense every year its about making adjustments in each game. an example, at the texas tech game, self wanted to pound the ball inside when all tech was doing was making sure that didnt happen. Self didnt make any changes

The players lack of focus is a direct statement about the coach...you would think that this far into the season they would be focused, especially for a big game. Lets face it, these guys have been here for a year and a half; is there any real improvement from last year to this year in ANY of the players?
and for Kaun, someone said that "I can tell you that KU had no intention of passing the ball into Kaun" SO WHY WAS HE IN THE GAME. rebounding? in the last couple of games hes average about 1.5 boards and points wise only about 3 ppg.

Self is a great recruiter, but he cannot coach or develop players. He has an inability to adapt to game situations or the type of players he has.

KU explodes on offense with 97-74 win

this was a great win....so what if Roby scored 30 points on Rush. Our defense wasnt that bad, we held them to under 45% from the field. We've blown out two teams in a row that we should have blown out...thats an improvement...i think a month ago the game at baylor would have been closer and this game might have been pretty close but today we countered CU's run and pulled away.

Self: Faster isn't better

the problem with slowing the game down is that means we will have to play a half court game...but we dont have a halfcourt game.

Freshmen emerging in early conference play

self needs to learn how to play other defenses when man to man isnt working. Keegan said it right, they need to press more often will all of that length and athletic ability (this is also a way to speed the game up)

Storm warning

The players got outplayed, and Self got outcoached....when do you ever see adjustments made in the game? only when we are down by 10 with a few minutes left. why cant the jayhawks start out in a zone? or play a full court trap every once in awhile? Also, Self wanted to pound the ball inside but all tech was doing was making sure that didnt happen. why dont you have a backup plan?
