I think you're forgetting a receiver that came in and was a freshman all-american. Charles Gordon was the first absolute top-flight recruit that I can remember under Mangino. If we didn't need him so much in the defensive backfield he would own every receiving record at KU.

I don't think team support will be an issue this year. That is unless they lose a couple of non-con games (although I really hope we don't.)

Plunge into history

I agree... Oklahoma State last year as the low point, no contest. I've never sat in Memorial and felt that kind of emptiness. We had that game won and gave it away!
