Keegan: UCLA had edge in poise
APD, get a clue. Roy won his "championship" with Dougherty's players, not his. He also lost today which is what he did while here. Bill has HIS team and will continue to climb the ladder to success one step at a time.

Self rants, KU rolls

Finally, the passion comes out.
Anyone who has seen my past comments knows I've been wondering when we'd see the passion from coach. This was our missing ingredient.
I'm still mad @ Roy but he had the passion during games. It's fuel for the playing fire. Without it, immature kids play with whatever the mood of the day is. With it, and with this talent, watch out.....

Wretched victory
There is no passion from this coach, NONE. He might get in their face in the huddle but "golly" he's too laid back. We've all complained how he won't bench the starters for poor play. "By golly those boys had courage tonight". Come on. Rip off your jacket and throw it on the floor from time to time. Show the fans your care for crying out loud. Gee Whiz it might motivate your players too. Quit defending poor play EVERY GAME. It's always some excuse. Bench the laggards and bring in kids with PASSION.

Woodling: At least Kansas was consistent
6-6 is unacceptable and someone's head needs to roll. In business and sports folks are held to account and replaced when the numbers are not hit. It's been 5 years for Mangino. Either he or his staff needs to go home or reorganize.
I love the guy, but at the end of the day "what have you done for me lately". This is business.

CURSES! KU TUMBLES
Nothing like owning a Ferrari (for a team) and getting pulled over on I-70 for driving too slow.
Hopefully an early loss is good for the soul and will carry forward a new attitude.
I tell you one thing. I'd have those boys shooting free throws until sun-up the next day. They'd be sleeping with the balls and taking them to class for the next week.

Woodling: Collapses not a new problem
I don't know....I just don't know....I've been going to KU games every year since my grandfather took me at age 5. I'm 37 now and just don't know what to say anymore. There must be skeletons in the closet we don't know about because this bad of karma for so long has got to swing in a positive direction sometime. Perhaps the student body should perform some sort of exorcism before next year. I just keep banging my head against the wall. I love them but cannot understand......

KU men get camp reprieve
Coach Mangino, how do I volunteer to be a waterboy? Lebowski suggests I'm not getting enough of the team.

KU men get camp reprieve
I'm a big basketball fan but most importantly a big Jayhawk fan.
How can we turn the corner with our up and coming football team when everyday during football season the basketball articles and coverage outweigh our football program. Come on guys. Give some respect. There is plenty of calendar days devoted to basketball and I cannot wait but now is the time for football. Our team needs our full undistracted support.
