Small for a cornerback, KU’s Hollomon plays big

They'll either go 3-9 or 7-5. No middle ground. They will either have taken the step up necessary or they won't and a lot falls on the shoulders of a Mr. Jake Heaps. If he and Justin McCay can revive the passing game, the offense will look a lot like the 2010 Chiefs (also a Weis-coached unit) with the best running attack in the country and a lone QB-WR tandem that gets it done in the red zone. On defense, I think they will continue to improve, but it all depends on the progress made by players like Jordan Tavai, Keon Stowers and Kevin Young. I like the addition of Marquel Combs, but I think he will need time to adjust.

Opinion: Sting of injury lessened by Love

He has been hurt since the first practice of the summer, so the recovery process is probably further along than we would otherwise believe. That being said, I don't know if he'll have Adrian Peterson or Derrick Rose-like recovery from the torn ACL. I guess we'll have to wait and see

KU extends deal with adidas through 2019

As long as they added a clause stipulating no future camo or smurf uniforms, we should be fine.

Opinion: Defend Big 12 title? Of course KU can

I think the starting five will be Tharpe, Selden, White III, Ellis, Lucas. I think that AW3 will be a pleasant surprise next season and with Naadir as a competent PG that can feed him the ball where he needs it he will go off. I bet Embiid spends most of his Freshman year getting Hudy-ized while Lucas controls the low block and splits time with Traylor. But Perry is gonna be a monster next year, and it's gonna be awesome!

Coaches see improvement in KU football's spring start

False. He actually set BYU's freshman record for passing Touchdowns as well as winning the MVP of their bowl game that year.

Allen debut awaits K-State coach

Weber has NO idea what he's in for. I think we not only beat K-State's ass tonight, but beat them bad. Like double digits bad. We are gonna embarrass these puddy tats.

TCU coach takes upset in stride

I like this guy a lot. He was nothing but class in his postgame interview and honestly I'm excited to see what he can do with this program. He is a builder and will have TCU in the upper tier of the Big 12 sooner than we think. As evidenced by this evening. As for our hawks? I think it's time for some Freddy T's and a run through the rest of conference play?
2008 style? I can dream can't I?

KU coach Bill Self talks after loss to TCU (Press Conferences & Post-Game Interviews)

There are a great many fingers to point here, Self does not deserve a one of them. He will work it out.

Bill Self questions team's toughness, desire following home loss to OSU

I vote Jamari starts. He's a hoss who will improve the toughness on the floor and play a mini T-Rob and allow Jeff to do his thing like last year
