Quick recap: Kansas dismantled by Texas Tech in 91-62 defeat

@Jaston,
Huh? Garrett and Lightfoot were the only 2 that showed up. Dotson in spurts... The rest of the team completely rolled over. Grimes, Lawson, Ochai (3 starters), were net negatives.
Yes Tech played lights out, but our attitude and energy level was sh!t. For Self to claim in the presser, that his team was ready to play, but they just played like crap, is an insult to our intelligence. Any Kansas fan, or b-ball fan for that matter, could tell that our boys were overwhelmed by Tech from the get go. And they had no desire to push back. They got completely out man-ned, out-toughed, out-played, out-everythinged. For Self not to publicly recognize that, was disappointing.

@LukeKading
I couldn’t agree with you more. My thoughts exactly!
I expected a loss. And would have been ok with it... if we had competed.
Which we did not do.

Watch Coach Self’s 4min presser. I ve never seen him lose his cool, or at least not be totally measured. Tonight, you could sense his frustration. Dare I say Bill Self might be coming back to the pack. And he can sense it.

Benton Smith: Ochai Agbaji has become key player for KU after just 10 games

People aren’t talking enough about Q’s game today. Shooting in rhythm, driving the ball, great passing...
He still had some boneheaded plays, but he looked much more relaxed and comfortable today.

Benton Smith: Mistakes prove costly as KU drops rivalry showdown

Quentin Grimes was next level bad tonight. I’d like to know how many points we were negative with him on the floor. Has to be 8-10.

De Sousa guardian has had long relationship with KU freshman and his family

No Jim, the point is, if you were being exposed by the FBI, publicly, if you were guilty, you probably wouldn’t run out and adamantly deny the charges. Unless you’re just stupid. If he was guilty, you would expect silence or some sort of posturing behind some lawyer speak. This is not to say that he’s not guilty, of course, but I like the fact that he’s out there immediately denying it without any sort of coaching... If you were accused of something you absolutely did not do, what would your first response be? Mine would be to shout from the mountain top that this is categorically false.

Sure doesn’t talk like someone who is guilty. Adamant denial is something you want to see hear, imo.

Villanova knocks Kansas out at the Final Four

Hard not to be pissed.

Was our game plan just to hope they missed open 3’s? Because every single one of them was uncontested. Really disappointing.

Congrats on an overachieving season nonetheless.

Love my Jayhawks

Tom Keegan: In search of the psychological edge in Kansas vs. Villanova

Virginia was the tournament’s overall #1. No? Otherwise, Villanova would be on the other side of the bracket.

Nevertheless, I think KU will come out loose and carefree. All the pundits have picked Villanova, much like the Duke game, so all we have to do is show up and get beat , right? Well we might as well go ahead and play and see what happens.
