FINAL: Bison have no answer for Aldrich in KU's 84-74 victory; Jayhawks to meet Dayton Flyers Sunday afternoon
I find it interesting that Huggy Bear said that the NCAA Tourney was easier than the Big East Tourney. Dayton thanks you for the bulletin board material, dummy.

Border bummer
To be honest, we were lucky to even be in this game with 27 turnovers. Cole Aldrich continues to amaze me by getting involved in the game, even when his teammates ignore him on the floor. We showed our youth out there last night, but I think it is something that we will improve upon. This team has a lot to learn, both on the basketball and maturity standpoints. HCBS will help this team grow. We just have to continue to be patient and enjoy the growth of this young team.

Xavier Henry, a 6-foot-6 senior guard from Putnam City (Okla.) High, has decided to play college bas
He used a hat to tell the audience who he was picking? That is quite possibly one of the most original ways to show your university of choice. I'm glad they have video posted because I had heard he might do that and it was pretty cool to see someone pull it off. Also, I liked that razzle dazzle with the 2 hats from the 2 possible schools. I had no idea who he would choose until he actually put the hat on his head. The suspense was killing me. I'm glad that he didn't accidentally put on the wrong hat, what with all of the pressure of having to put a hat on your head with the cameras around.

Gary Bedore's KU basketball notebook
Good article about some of the things that Wall has had to go through in his young life. Sounds like he has his head on straight regardless of the #1 ranking in his class. Here's to hoping he wants to become a Jayhawk. Sorry, wasn't sure how to make the link clickable.http://sports.espn.go.com/highschool/rise/basketball/boys/news/story?id=3610222&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab6pos1

KU's Releford eligible; twins waiting on clearance
Cut the guy a little slack. Keep in mind that he gets very little time to see his son, so you may have to forgive him for prioritizing his family a little. He will be at fighting weight when the season rolls around. Let HCBS do his job and leave the criticizing to him.

Chalmers likely staying in draft
Thanks for everything Mario. I thought that there was a chance he would be back, but the more I read, he is doing well at workouts and looks to be on his way. Good luck.

Jersey Jayhawks
Welcome to Mount Oread. It will be tough at first, but it will get easier. You guys will create memories that will be with you the rest of your life. Congratulations on this big step. Also, is it just me or does the LJW really overuse the word "ballyhooed"?

Arthur tells media he's headed to NBA
I don't know how anyone could be surprised. I would've been more surprised if he had come back than I would have been waking up with my face sewn to the carpet.

Keegan: Jayhawks prove they're best ever
Reesing is a tough dude. He just kept getting hit and back up. The one play that they are referencing above where he was picked up and thrown to the ground is just a long way of saying that Todd got suplexed.
Great job last night Jayhawks. You made us all very proud of you and proud to be Jayhawks.

Keegan: Jayhawks prove they're best ever
I think that is why he said "you're welcome", because he was one of the ones that motivated them.
