KU headed to Insight Bowl

This all leads back to last year and the Orange Bowl. Mizzou got blown out by OU in the Big 12 Championship and the BCS guys all ran away from them and fast. Orange bowl looks over, thinks we're the strong team and takes us. Big 12 stepped in this year to avoid a repeat. Now Mizzou just needs to win to completely screw things up. BCS Championship Game - TexasFiesta - MizzouCotton - OUHoliday - TTGator - OSU Alamo - KUSee? It works out! It does beg the question what happens if Mizzou wins. This is assuming the Gator Bowl takes a big 12 team as well. If they don't obviously OSU could be taken into the Alamo bowl then it's a moot point.

KU headed to Insight Bowl

I am thrilled we are going to another bowl. It isn't BCS, but I think it still validates us as a football school. I think the Big 12 dictating bowls is out of line. It is suppose to be on the bowls to decide. If Mizzou is not what Alamo wants, why can't they choose us?

The Big 12 can now dictate which bowls it's teams can go to? Since when did that start. So if Mizzou wins wouldn't the Alamo bowl still want us then?Alamo Bowl is on ESPN - Better coverage for us. Better recruitment in Texas!

Actorman, problem is FSN is by area only. So the good players in Texas may not even see the game. Regardless, when we go in and whip the tiggers to claim the north, they'll play the Big 12 Championship at 11:30am.

KU men's basketball 23rd in preseason coaches poll

#2 recruiting class. That's what kept us in the top 25. Anything lower then 10 would've easily pushed us out. Won't matter. We "stole" our #1 seed from Texas. We were gonna lose to Davidson. NC was gonna beat us. Memphis was picked to win.Then again, I believe we won all of those games.
