Self, staff turn attention to July recruiting period

Our team is incredibly scary. The rest of the Big 12 is seriously screwed, even OK St is screwed. We ain't got time for that! Our first 3 or 4 off the bench would start on every other big 12 team. This is insane. This is insane. This is insane. Yes, let the darkness flow through you.

Opinion: KU football has shot to recapture past playmaking magic

I'm a little worried about our WR. I don't know if Harwell is going to be eligible. McCay is an improvement from last year but he's unproven. His spring game was good, however his TD was clearly offensive pass interference. Pierson is a total wildcard, he may just save the WRs because he's going to garner a lot of attention leaving them in single coverage often.

However it is sliced I know we'll have more touchdown passes to WRs this year than last. . . . . . luckily Heaps and McCay have a years worth of chemistry.

Opinion: Charlie Weis alone couldn’t salvage Chris Martin

Why would a dealer implicate themselves (and then have it corroborated by the finding of said weed and money) ? Would both the perps and accusers fingerprints be on the container or bag that the pot is in? Can the perps account for where they got the money? Can they account for where they got the pot (other than robbing the accuser?

Some of that is evidence and some is just an extremely strong indication that they are guilty. Dude - he's off the team and should be. In fact, he's probably going to prison. I pay my taxes to put donkeys like this in jail.

They found evidence from the crimes at the residences of the perpetrators, that is significantly more than just the word of the accusers.

They call that "evidence."

Newsflash - he's not going to the NFL. He hasn't played a down in college and is obviously mentally unstable.

Moving on without Chris Martin: Where KU football goes from here

I agree it's not the biggest offense but it was literally his first week here. He was already breaking the law and doing so in a way that anyone on campus could see it.

Moving on without Chris Martin: Where KU football goes from here

"Martin is a very likable dude, quirky in a way but gifted with great energy and an enjoyable sense of humor"

Have to disagree about the likable part. He's not - he's a thug and a loudmouth who robs people with painted wooden guns. Screw him, he better be kicked off the team (he's guilty as sin).

I saw him the first week on campus illegally riding in the bed of a pickup truck, then he knocked around his girlfriend (she's pregnant) and now he robs and sequesters people (kidnapping). He's going to jail and deserves it.

I did too. His mouth was bigger than his game. He talked more than he tried.

Although, in my experience, football players generally aren't very good at basketball. You fake one way and they are so athletic they end up on the other end of the court. He was slow for basketball standards.

And a gun in someone's face to get that weed and cash. Kidnapping as well - more than just weed and cash. The more I think about it I really can't believe it.

Up to 61 months for aggravated assault and kidnapping. If he's guilty he's going to prison for at least a couple of years. He should too, if he is guilty. We don't need thugs like that in our society, let alone on a football team.

Your taxes pay to put people who do these type of things away. Otherwise they will harass the world endlessly.
