Fifteen more years for Self? 'That's still a long time'
ChicagoJHawk, I agree with you, sort of. The factual basis may be tenuous, but they're doing what journalists do: they're speculating. If anything, the headline is misleading - when the Omaha paper tried in a roundabout way to pin Self down on how long he was staying, he seemed to say 15 years is too long, but the LJW headline implies that he thinks otherwise.

Fifteen more years for Self? 'That's still a long time'
For those of you griping about this article as "pointless," be reminded that you actually read it and commented on it. The Journal-World writes articles on KU basketball nearly every day because we readers expect it. We lap it up because we are addicted. Be thankful.

KU secures 2008 NCAA crown, 75-68 in overtime over Memphis
&%^$ all the haters. We have something we'll never lose. Ever. Memphis didn't make plays. Kansas did. Couldn't make a free throw. Kansas did. We've been rewarded for 20 years of love.

Self: Jayhawks not tough enough again
I generally think the K-State and Mizzou bashing on this site gets a bit old.
Generally.
I laughed my tail off watching KSU whine and fake-punch its way out of the league lead. Young is a punk, Beasley acted like an 18-year-old, and Frank Martin needs a new tailor. My entire week of basketball viewing has been redeemed.
Anyone else here one of the commentators say that Bob Knight might get a call from Indiana?

Missouri suspends five players
'Tis true, this isn't surprising for Missouri. But college-age men are known for making bad choices and staying out too late. Just ask J.R. Giddens and C.J. Giles.
