KU freshman Josh Jackson getting some preseason All-American love

Wow! I did not realize that Perry Ellis averaged 1,150 minutes a game last year. No wonder he looked so old by the time he finished his KU career... : P

Naadir Tharpe makes most of second chance in KU's comeback win over Texas

"Tharpe did miss a fade-away jumper at :27, giving Texas (down 62-59) a final chance to tie. Julien Lewis missed a three from the corner with 13 seconds left and 13 seconds still on the shot clock."

Not to be too picky here, but wasn't the shot clock turned off if Texas got possession with 27 seconds left?

Pick-and-roll key for Jayhawks

"Maybe he's still bitter about KU and Danny Manning throttling his Wildcats back in the 1988 Final 4?"

FYI - KU beat Duke in the 1988 Final Four. It was Oklahoma that throttled Arizona.

KU coach Bill Self: Jayhawk basketball team ‘loose’ in arrival to Tulsa

I get what HCBS is trying to say, but no 15 seed has ever beaten a 1 seed before - that would have to happen in the Regional Finals.
