Jackson has clear mind, big ideas for senior season

All I can say is that every week, Darnell Jackson inspires me more. With all he's been through, and the fact that he's worked hard to get to the point he's at is incredible. I only wish that I could better know this guy, and think that the team is very lucky to have that opportunity. My only wish is that DJax and his teammates get to cut down the nets in San Antonio this spring. ROCK CHALK! Darnell is a Beast!

Ballin' and bawlin'

DJax is awesome, and he inspires me with how far he's come and everything he's gone through to get to this point. I hope, for the sake of the entire team, that this is the year of the Jayhawks! ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK - all the way to San Antonio!

Jackson makes it a three-peat

D Jax (What my little bro calls him) has become my favorite player to watch recently. With everything he's gone thru during his time as a jayhawk, he has become a real role model for me. He has worked hard for everything, and therefore he deserves the respect. I hope he, and the rest of the Rock Chalkin' Jayhawks get to San Antonio to cut down the nets, that would be sweet!

Jackson opens season on top

Darnell Jackson is my hero. He has gone through so much in his life, yet he keeps working hard and maintains a positive outlook. I can't put into words how much I respect the guy.

KU jumps to 5th in both polls, 4th in BCS rankings

This is great for KU overall. Both FB and BB in the top 5 nationally!

As a side note, I hate how the BIG XII has been getting little or no respect as a conference. Just thought I'd point out three facts...

1) BIG XII has 2 of the top 5 teams (OU, KU)
2) Big XII has 3 of the top 7 teams (OU, KU, Mizzou)
3) Big XII has 4 of the top 15 teams (OU, KU, Mizzou & Texas)

Does that not mean something?

oh, nad LSU is definitely the luckiest team in the nation, they get way too many penalties too.

REESING FOR HEISMAN!!!

Unlike matt Ryan, Todd Reesing actually plays the whole game, (not just the last few minutes)

KU finishes record-setting day, pounds Nebraska 76-39

Check this extremely strange info out:

4:34 p.m.: From ESPN Research: How weird is this? Last year, during college basketball season, Kansas defeated Nebraska in its first game on Jan. 29, 76-56.
In the second meeting of the schools, on Feb. 17, Kansas won 92-39.
So, take the points scored by Kansas in the first game and take the points Nebraska scored in the second game, and you have today's football score: 76-39.
