C.J. familiar with Tigers
"Maybe dumb questions here, but do walkons count against the scholarship total of players? I was a little confused about the possibility of Teahan, etc. as redshirts, since I thought they didn't count against the total scholarships..."
Walkons do not have athletic scholarships and do not count towards the total. Thay are subject to the same rules regarding eligibility. Therefore, they can redshirt and retain that year of eligibility.
"Also, don't the redshirts continue practicing with the team and developing full-time during the year?"
Absolutely. That's THE major benefit of redshirting, to give a player an extra year of development. Also means that they get rings if the teams wins championships.

KU-Oklahoma start time announced
Rats, by not being prime time it means that it will be a regional game and we won't get it out here on the left coast without pay-per-view...we'll get Pac 10 game instead.

KU football will play Oklahoma at either 2:30 or 7 p.m. on ABC
Problem is ABC broadcasts regionally...out here on the left coast we'll most likely get some loser PAC-10 game instead. You'd think with satellite I could get it but noooooo...

Joe-College.com argues judge's ruling would mean end to T-shirt company
1) By law, if you don't defend your trademarks, you lose them.
2) OK, so you like the shirts, so that you make excuse breaking the law?
3) Sure some of the shirts were tasteless, but they cast a bad light on KU. Of course they are going to try and stop him. Duh.
Law is the law. Either follow it or be prepared to pay the consequence.

Owens, Sutton to be inducted today
I won't downplay the seriousness of a DUI, but I don't see why one transgression should erase a lifetime of achievement. Eddie was a heckuva coach and a classy guy.
My question, why was Endacott left out of the title?

CBS College sports (Formerly CSTV) is channel 613 on DirecTV. I getting it right now, but at the moment I can't recall if I'm paying for the sports package or not (I don't think I am but...).
