Oh well. He would've been a nice addition but I'm not sure he would've fit in with Self's defensive philosophy. It sounds like Brandon Knight is the better fit with Self and company.

Jayhawks deserve their lofty perch

I think Willie Warren is a great player, but I can't stand how he carries himself on the court. When he makes a big shot, he runs back on defense laughing and yapping at opposing players.

Tyshawn Taylor made more big shots last night and you didn't see any showboating...he just turned his focus onto playing defense. Tyshawn is also more of a team player than One-on-One Willie.

Great game Tyshawn! I'll take you over Warren any day!

Mayer: Arthur's KU days history

"Arthur is not about to hang around fending off barbs about his academic status, especially when he goes on the road against the likes of Missouri and Kansas State."Who cares about those schools...we'll beat them w/ or w/out Arthur. That shouldn't factor one bit in his decision....millions of dollars is the only thing that should factor in his decision.

Student attendance at UA game surprises Self

If the football team would've won, the Fieldhouse would've been packed.

Also, go back to paper tix...when I was a student, I went to a lot of games w/ tix passed along by friends. I'm sure this played into it for the AZ game as well, especially Thanksgiving weekend.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we need to be targeting big men. It seems like we have all the guards for the next couple of years even if Mario leaves after this year which I doubt.

After this upcoming year and with Arthur potentially gone, who do we have down low besides Cole?
