Right-hand man

Joe Dooley is the baddest man at the University of Kansas... I've seen that guy eating at Henry T's with his wife and kid and he was wearing a scowl the entire meal... He didn't even chew his food, he just looked at the plate, with that menacing glare and his balding do slicked back, and somehow, the food just disappeared...That's the kind of guy Joe Dooley is... And he dropped the dopest 'F' bomb in KU history on Nick Fazekas... God Bless Joe Dooley

Questions surround futures of Kansas trio

I'm astonished some of the comments questioning whether Mario's #15 should merit inclusion in the rafters... Are you Serious.?This guy hit the biggest shot for Kansas in the last 100 years - after being the man all season and pretty much all of his career - and we're comparing him to Langford? There should be a street named after him considering what he did the other night... That guy ended 20 years of frustration, agitation and anticipation with that shot... HANG HIS JERSEY!

KU football adds future home dates with Southern Miss., New Mexico St.

I would have no problem adding losers like Duke and New Mexico State to our schedule if there was an Oregon State, Arizona State, heck, maybe even a Boston College or Arkansas for that matter to go along with them, but unfortunately, there's not...

You don't necessarily have to break the bank and go to LSU every year, but these non-conference games with these podunk teams are absolutely good for nobody... Take your two loser teams, and a couple mediocres for three years, add a biggie in every fourth and fifth and we're good...

And who knows, we might get more than a couple four-star recruits out of high school as opposed to juco if we can finagle a 3-1, 4-0 non-con against good teams...

ESPN crew rolls in

While beating K-State is definitely the most important task for Saturday night, the more coverage we can see of Erin Andrews, the better off we'll all be...

Morris twins commit to KU

I gotta give it to Slick Billy, he's pulled in a pretty good recruiting class so far when I, along with others, were questioning if he could match or even come close to pulling in the type of incredible classes he'd piled up since he's been here...

I'm proud of ya Billy... Now just work on those X's and O's and who knows...

KU cracks top 10 in preseason magazines

It doesn't matter where we're ranked until Slick Billy Self steps up his X's & O's game...

Championship or Bust... This is KU Basketball, let's see if Self finally puts all that recruiting he's done to some good use...

Good intentions aside, Gundy made OSU soap opera worse

I couldn't aggree more with CWrist's comment regarding the inclusion of Reid's mother...

If she was trying to emphasize her point that he was weak by adding his mother feeding him chicken, that was cold, real cold...

But I think the real issue here is a female columnist bagging on a football player... It's one thing if a female bags on a basketball player, baseballer or soccer athlete, women play those sports too - well, softball - so there's a connection that, okay, the criticism is vaild...

But for a woman to clown a football player, to me, I think it's hard to take that seriously because, let's face it, women aren't playing football and there's a very special, masucline, tough quality to football that makes it especially appealing and damn near sacred to men... I'm not saying women shouldn't criticize, but if they do, they better be a little more careful about it...

This may veer off slightly, but consider how upset women would get if a man chastised a woman over child birth...

Official defends 'nation's easiest schedule'

Apparently you homers above don't get it... What kid wants to come to a school that plays a bunch of weaklings? How much TV exposure are you gonna get playing Central Michigan or FIU? Or Duke? Give me a break. This program needs a serious jolt and if it means getting waxed by a national power, so what?

Any loser program can beat up on weak schools, and for those making the K-State argument, at least K-State took care of business during conference play.

Wake up people - this program is really only a notch better than when when Terry Allen was running things... Except Mangino's got an AD with a bigger wallet and more fundraising ability...

I'm as big a KU football fan as anybody, but I don't subscribe to the notion KU can never have a top notch program... But it starts with a better head coach, more talent and fans that aren't satisfied with a lame, D-II quality schedule...

JaRon Rush won't coach after all

Rumor has it Rush had already talked all the Barstow kids into foregoing the rest of their high school and college eligibility and jumping to the NBA...

Elder Rush to coach at Barstow

Now the kids have someone to get them alcohol for their parties... And give them bad advice...

Great addition to the staff for aspiring thug athletes...
